Your guild is trash. They were looking for a reason to feel superior and found one; this is nothing to do with corruption as a system, and would happen with any progression system no matter how minor the difference. The solution? Find a guild with a better attitude.
You’re in a bleeding-edge guild which cares about it’s world ranking. If this is the case, you’re aware and accept that you get replaced/benched if there’re better options for the raid’s success. The solution? Don’t join guilds that are above your level of commitment.
This is just your scapegoat and you’re kicked for other reasons, but are using this as a reason.
Or it’s just a weekend thread come early. I suppose that’s the 4th possibility.
There is a website called warcraftlogs that many people upload their performance data to, it will upload all the data from everyone in the fight. You may have logs uploaded incidentally, you may not, just search your name on the website and take a look.
You survived 2 minutes into Maut and killed yourself in less than 5 seconds on the shield. 25k dps. You lost more than half your raid in 2 min to a normal boss.
The only advice that might work for you is to take a break until Shadowlands, since all these borrowed power BfA systems will get burried and gone then, it will be a fresh start for all, and if we are a little lucky, a better expansion than BfA, which isn’t hard to acomplish. Install Steam and try out other games, or even other Blizzard games if any are of a genre you could enjoy. There are so many cool games out there, no point being tied to one you don’t enjoy.

The guild is full of jerks then. I took liberty to look at your armory. If I go by EP and what you’ve done, then kicking you from roster just because of it was disrespectful.
Our own shadowpriest struggles too, competing with our tanks, where both tanks are dps focused, and well geared and often cheese things so one gets higher dps up time + use sneaky trinkets that scale funny on tanks.
The fact you do not have best corrupted gear yet shouldn’t make guild act so harshly. This is RNG and a solid raider and player is more important than piece of gear.
Otherwise I agree with your view on corrupted gear.
… your guild still sucks though. I had for 2 raids 0 corrupted items, and I now only have 1 corrupted item (the intro bracers were not an upgrade) and I am not only ‘failure’ in team. We have whole bundle of RNG disasters, but bosses still die.
Corrupted gear is a joke its absolutely rudimentary system. If i go above 20 corruption i straight up cleanse my items because this fkn annoying void zone irritates me to no end.
If your guild know tactics and they at least can press their buttons, they can clear herioc raid like a breeze. Mythic difficulty is for tryhards so not gonna bother discussing it.
If your guild fails oto kill bosses and blame people without OP corruptions for it, then they are just trash and i highly recommend to change the guild.
I think you’ve made the right call, it is brave to quit this game since it becomes addiction for most people, just look at state of BfA and people still play it.
I am the current GM of the guild that kicked him, a couple of weeks before HC opening he requests to join and says he came back after a break so needs to gear up being sub EP levels. I inform him if he wants to trial he will need to get neck level 75 and farm some mythic + or mythic+ level 6 during the gear up week. He proceeds to play LOL for 2 weeks straight to end up at neck level 68 or 69 on HC week while most of our raiders already 75 (We did end up reaching top 600 CE last tier, so planing to push a bit more than last time). Wednesday comes up its raid time, were going normal and we have 32 applicants, raid size is capped at 30 so we have to bench a couple of people. You are 30 ilvl below everyone, 6 to 7 hoa levels below everyone, so naturally i call you out on it and tell you to sit till next week and catch up. You seem disapointed and in quit the guild 5 seconds later. Please dont give some made up sob story about corruptions as you didnt even log on before the raid once \thread

On the raid release your neck ilvl was below requirments not even 70.You were lowest geared player in the whole guild,even the socials were better prepared than you.
We had full roster on raid night 30+ people and you were explained in nice manner why you didnt get in that 30 cut,after you rage quited 10 min later , without saying anything.
Not to mention on the patch release-raid release you didnt show any interest towards the guild or getting prepared , instead you were playing league of legends
Swablaster have gotten every single CE this expansion , you werent good enough for us anyway with that attitude.

Raid was over subscribed. He was lowest ilvl, lowest HOA level and refused to gear up in the week they gave him before raid release. He then rage quit when he was benched.
I mean i take everything with a grain of salt but if this is to be believed its just a rage quit.
