Thanks for 8.3, never thought i will cancel my sub one day

Today i’ve cancelled my subscription, maybe many people won’t care, but it is something i didn’t think i will do.

After 8.2, all my alts died, and payed a lot of money to get them to insta 110, so now they are not even usable because essences are not account wide, and i can’t farm for essences for months again in every one of my alts.

Now in 8.3, i was playing the only character i decided to farm essences in, and the one with the highest ilvl, my SPriest, but SPriest are useless without Infinite Stars, even if i play them perfect, if i don’t make any mistakes and i don’t have to do any mechanics, i wont get higher than a green log in single target fights.

I got kicked from my guild’s roster because i’ve just gotten 3 corrupted items and neither of them are the ones my class needs, and even as a 450 SPriest im doing less damage than the tanks in single target fights.

I want to change class, but i know i have to farm all and every single one of my essences from scratch + the cape, and that’s not something i can really do or i don’t have the time to do so.

This is the only game i played where i could do distract and escape from real world for a little while, and now it’s unplayable for me.

You’re doing everything wrong, you’re doing the opposite of everything that you once made. I’m really sorry.

Your guild sounds like crap tbh

They Sorta-fixed it by reducing requirements on them

We can do erotic furry roleplay if you want to escape reality

Although everyone i RP with appreciate reality more after they’ve met me :joy:

It certainly sounds that way.

And are you really sure it’s your corrupted items that are the problem, OP? I know spriest isn’t the best dps class on single target, but if you can’t out-dps the tank, it sounds like there’s something wrong with your rotation.

My guild does heroic clear every season, and 3 bosses on mythic max and they dont even mind me coming on an affli lock with no corruptions ( I do 20-30k dps )

We get a lot of quit threads here. This one seems sadder and more genuine than most. I’m sorry you’re having such a bad time.

I have no advice to give you, I’m afraid. You know all the options as well as I do.

If you do leave, I wish you the best in finding something as engrossing as WoW.

I sym for 45k in single target, i did 40k, give or take with mechanics and movement.

Yikes, then it’s not the game fault. Our tanks do maybe 20-30k damage depending on the boss, I highly doubt you do below that.

Also, a dick move by your guild, join a better one.

Do you know tanks have the lowest single target dmg in wow?

Most tanks do dmg in aoe mostly.

Do you have logs or something? That’s quite low even without any corruption. Maybe someone who knows how to play spriest can help or tell what’s wrong.

That’s not a skill flame. I have no idea of shadow priests. But maybe you’re using some wrong stats / essences / traits whatever.

Maybe ask in the priest discord? Dk discord helped me a lot when I was completely failing to play frost properly. (I still fail at frost tbh, but now at least I know why)

Your former guild is currently 12/12 Heroic and has recorded Heroic kills with a 29-man roster, including people with very little Corrupted gear and inferior Corruption traits like Void Ritual or secondary stat procs. That makes it a bit hard to believe you couldn’t find a spot in a 29-man Heroic raid because you didn’t have BiS Corruption.

What the people in those recorded Heroic kills did have was a much higher average Item Level than you and a higher neck level than you, passing the 75 threshold that you are still 3 levels away from. I mean… I’m in a casual 1/12HC guild ATM and people here have a higher neck level than you…

Also, a tank exceeding 45k single target dps in Heroic sounds pretty sketch. That means the other dps were doing what, 70k? 80k? 90k? Those are Method and Limit World First numbers, not World 1200th Heroic numbers.

Oh, and speaking of Method, they have two Shadow Priests in the raid right now. So yeah, literally unplayable trash tier spec…

I have a suspition there is more to this story than presented.

Guild drama… If you invest a lot in money, time and dedication this really hurts. Join a new one and stay more relaxed, is my humble advice.

How did you check the log? My dps is really bad. I would like to compare my play style with other furry warriors.
