This is an interesting post to say the least. Yes, I am apart of the guild he’s referring too and no, we’re not douches. He simply didn’t meet any of the EASY requirements for us. We were asked for 75 neck, he hasn’t achieved it and we still gave him the chance to raid with us.
Throughout both raids nights that he attended all he did was complain that he ‘wasn’t able to do dps because he had no corruptions’ when that’s just straight up wrong.
He streamed some of it and after watching the first couple of minutes you can clearly tell he’s playing the spec wrong. He doesn’t even DOT ads as an spriest??
We probably wouldn’t of even cared if he was doing terrible dps if he met simple neck requirements.

That’s why you don’t make assumptions based on what a random person on the internet said, but look for evidence to figure out what exactly is going on. Good practice for other things in life too.
It’s 2020, we have wowprogress, we have raider io, we have armory, we have warcraft logs… It really wasn’t hard to figure out what the actual story was.

Ok this whole post came out wrong.
I’m not talking about my performance, and i’m not saying my guild are douche bags, everyone extrapolated what they wanted out of this post. My whole deal, was that, symming my self, i do 45k DPS as a 447 SPriest and that if i had Infinite Stars, that seems to be a must now a days or some of the corrupted items that i do not have or do not posses, i would do 20k more dps according to the sym.
Now everything came out wrong, i’ve never blamed the guild, i’m not mad about Swapblasters, i quitted for how i felt about the game and my class, i never complained about you, i didn’t complain about my new guild also.
Everyone just extrapolated what they wanted and this has costed me my guild, when they were giving me a chance to gear another character, Atom’s officers were very nice, i didn’t come here to complain about anything, now everything went sideways and i’m guildless and raidless when i was starting to gear my new character.
Thanks internet.
EDIT: Yes i left Swapblasters but a i said, it wasn’t before i was mad with the guild, i know my duty as a raider, so i know what i must do.
My 8 months delay and disappearence is not bullsh*t, i had a major motorcycle accident and i broke my leg i can send you pictures if you want of my surgery, and i wasn’t in europe so i couldn’t play, and i didn’t “DEMAND” a trial spot, i asked to the officers, if they were looking for trialing people, and if i could get a trial spot, if they were not i’d just quit and look for another guild. And i couldn’t play LoL or WoW or any other game (Launcher was open that’s why) Because im on a new city was 24/7 looking for a new job and had to get everything set up so didn’t have the time to do everything.
This whole post came out awfuly wrong, i was just trying to say that the game has been fcked (in my POV) since 8.2 with all the grind and killing the alts, and i said the guild things just to make it a little more “DRamatic” but i never intended to make the guilds look bad, i fcking swear on my life.
I apologize if you felt like that was what i was saying but i swear it wasn’t.
You made up BS, making your guilds look like Aholes and you got called out for it, now you are simply getting back what you tried to spread.

How would you perceive it , after saying you got kicked out for not having the “right” corruptions , and being geared , while in reality you didn’t have proper gear / corruptions / essences for one simple reason and that’s you not even playing the game . Saying you played perfectly ( logs didn’t provide that argument) .
On assumption , if you actually cared about raiding and being in progression guild , you would use your time in the game to actually gear up and be ready for the upcoming tier.You were in guild for months and I didn’t even notice you were part of it , because you never showed up for anything .
Multiple people during multiple tiers in this guild have swapped their classes/roles mid tier , and guild provided them with proper help gearing up , because they showed interest to play the game and progress , something again you didn’t .
And saying everyone “extrapolated” what they wanted doesn’t even make sense.You knew what you were typing and thinking while writing this down , complaining about not having gear/essences/corruptions , while in reality you didn’t even tried to get them , and then you tried to put it on guild shoulders.
Game is in sh*t state but don’t blame it and put it down on other players when you yourself are part of the problem.

I might have expressed wrong but that was because i was mad at the game and my guild is very nice. I swear on my dead mother’s grave i’m not making up bullsh*t.
Thing is you wrote you were kick from the guild because of your lack of gear, DPS, etc.
By the screenshot you weren’t removed from the guild, you left the guild.
It could be a must if you guild is looking do progression and get some ranks on the leaderboards.
Your ex-GM clearly stated they’re looking to get better places on leaderboard. In my opinion is understandable they removed you from the raid team.
They gave you a chance and you didn’t take it.

Forget swapblasters im not talking about them, i got kicked from roster, that’s the raiding thing, swapblasters has nothing to do here.
So, let me get this straight. You were kick from that guild because of lack of DPS and gear, right? Did you consider gearing up?
Shadow Priest can do decent DPS and for some fights are a valuable asset you a group.
I mean… I’m a casual player and not even a good one.
I don’t play with guilds nor friends, I only PUG; I’ve HOA level 75 and I’m 454 ilvl…
If you don’t like you main and you want to play you should reroll. I know it could be frustrating, I’ve reroll three times in Bfa but you can’t expect to have everything ‘for free’/not putting effort into reaching your goals.
Edit: and yes, Corruption system is horrible. That’s all we have for now; you want to have better gear and hit top meters (or at least attempt to do so)? You should keep farming raids.
You can’t get into a raid team? Join a PUG. You should prove your worth to a guild.

I started to gear, i didn’t have a team for mythic islands, and heroic were too slow with pugs. But i got 3 corrupted items and neither the ones i needed, i even got a 3% leech corruption, that’s laughable.
I know my guild duties, i almost made it to one of the top 3 guilds in my realm, i just couldn’t because the trip i had to do which costed my leg and was gonna be out for a couple of months and it extended.
That’s a good start.
Indeed it’s laughable for raiding.
Many topic were made because the drop system of Corruption is upsetting to say at least.
Your DPS suffer but even without ‘Infinite Starts’ you can do better than those result your logs show.
You will or not will get your BiS but for now you have two options:
- Keep trying, keep farming, without blaming anyone from X reason (because it’s not your fault the item didn’t drop with the right Corruption neither is your ex-guild fault).
- Give up and quit the game.

Seems you did not looked more to say i looked at you more and you got 0 so i am for sure more experienced to say if someone is bad if they are outdpsed by tanks when i play tanks and do heroic in chill.

I do agree with you that corruption is a pain in the bum as it can carry bad players and give them 20k free dps in SOME situations. That being said, if you just focused on playing your spec better, you would be able to improve your dps much more than any gear would fix for you. If you aren’t getting purple/orange logs without corruption, the gear wont bring you there. I’ve done orange logs on some fights with no corruption and i’ve also got stuck with purple logs on some fights till i got void corruption and shot up to orange logs. These corruption items are mainly a hindrance for cutting edge players min maxing or people pushing currently 17+ keys, 16’s seems to be time-able with a semi competent pug without corruption right now.

I feel for you as a shadowpriest main. The nerfs have been over the top and the rest of the playerbase have no understanding. The only reason im still standing is because I have been sorta lucky with corruption (echoing void rank 3) that makes me atleast half decent.
And somehow we got no buffs during HC week…
