So, i transmogged my gun to to look like Thas’Dorah, and now after I entered dalaran, i gt the Windrunning buff all the time, whats up with that?

It’s probably a bug, transmogs should be for visuals only.
Does the buff actually do something or it only shows the icon without the effect?
It’s propably like with the weapons that talk to you, you get the hidden stuff when you mog it.
The buff definitely does something. Other party members can be affected by it too. It even works cross-spec as long as the weapon you use is also transmogged to Thasdorah.
It’s definitely some kind of bug, as it’s tied to transmogging the weapon - something which is ordinarily an entirely cosmetic thing. Whenever I’m in Legion content, I’m glad that I use Thasdorah’s skin.

Well… I guess I’ll go farm it harder now…
Oh I thought this was supposed to happen 
It just used to increase movement speed out of combat.
