That anima reservoir quest

So far only world quests with anima seem to add any to the total. Any anima items I put in manually do not count. I’m not doing dungeons currently because I’ve just changed my game pad and the muscle memory isn’t there yet and any group I join is going to be severely gimped by my random pressing of the wrong keys (it’ll improve once I get used to the keys - I’ll probably actually do dungeons now I don’t have to heal).

What am I missing for anima collection? I’ve collected in excess of a thousand (I’ve opened up the mushroom travel network this reset when I started with 29 something anima) but the quest stays stubbornly on 685!

The anima counts as soon as you get the anima on use item as an reward. Not when you use said item.

So there is no sense in holding on to the anima items. The weekly quest wants you to be awarded 1000 anima not to use 1000 anima in items.

Meaning - If a quest reward is 3x an on use item which gives 20 anima each - you get a weekly progress of 60.

If and when you use this items is irrelevant.

You can do the rares and treasures in each zone to get more anima. I think there’s 3 daily treasures in each zone, even if you’ve found all the static ones. The daily ones appear on the map and are random. Every rare can be done daily.

Get the HandyNotes: Shadowlands addon if you don’t have it already. Then you can see all the rares on the map, how to spawn them and know which you’ve done each day.

Wanted Quests, Dailies, Weeklies/PvP Weekly, Kill Rares, Do your Sanctum conductor unlock/areas, Clear one zone of anima world quests, treasures. Mission Table, Campaign, Maw?

Rinse Repeat be done in a few hours.

I’m stuck on the campaign until I do the anima quest (grrr), but I haven’t done much in the maw unless forced too, I’ll give it a look later, thanks!
