This quest behaves strangely:
That Darn Fox! - Quest - World of Warcraft (wowhead.com)
Start the quest in Ardenweald, get the buff to catch the fox, click the fox repeatedly and get stunned every time (that’s fine), after the fifth click with 30 sec left on the buff the fox freezes and does nothing. Does not respond to clicks. The quest does not complete.
Am I supposed to do something else or is the quest bugged?
Same for me. Tried abandoning the quest and try it again did not work either.
The fox is suposed to warp you to another place where you will try to catch him.
The latest notes mention a fix for the quest:
“That Darn Fox” will once again provide quest rewards, including the adorable pet vulpin Renny.
…but I am not sure whether this means the quest actually completes now.
It worked well for me without issues and I have Renny now, but no one else in my guild has been able to get it.
I managed to complete it yesterday for some reason. Just ignored it and left it in my questlog and continued leveling and tried it the next day.
I finished it just fine as well. I was pleasantly suprised when I later returned to Ardenweald and found the foxy running up to me with a quest to adopt him.
Also completed the quest yesterday. Seems to be fixed.
Finished it just fine - fun little quest, teleporting you all over, fight an elite at the end and bingo, you have a pet when you return to Ardenweald
