Ppl who are on about Xaryu and Pika should have won cause they had the most killz / points clearly diden read the post from blizzard on how the points was given out prio to the event.
Ofc they did a SUPER job at killing and gaining a huge point lead, but in the end its a streamer event, where you had ppl who probaly played very little of the game and was there first time in the event.
So the event was made so those ppl could have a chance to win if they where either in round 6 top 3 or in round 7 top 10. If it was only point / killz based there would not have been a real reason to have maybe 80% of the teams in that event, since its still pvp and somewhat skill based ( and Xaryu and Pika beeing pro pvp players and played alot with each other to know how each other probaly would handle stuff ) would have been unfair towards like Nyanners & Silvervale or any other team who is probaly not fully into how stuff interacts in wow and such.
Regarding the Gingi winning, in the end its blizzard who deside who won and who diden, rules saidt top 10 in round 7 could win and they where number 4. If it was cheating or not is also blizzard who say what was or was is not. From what i heard on Mes stream last night when admin was asked if it was dq or not, it was told it was not a Dq.
Also alot of ppl say unfair sportsmanship and he should have jumped down. 99.9% sure that most ppl who complain about this if put in the same situation and had a chance to win would have done same, seeing as blizz diden say / or pushed gingi down those full 1-2 min the last phase where.
Yep sure, any âmortalâ who would done the same and won the game, the others would report him/her and get perma ban for exploit.

When Gingi read this heâll thank you on his little stream and youâll be the bestest friends!
Grats!

Ginga cheating? say it isnt so /s and knowing his track record it will not be the last time he does it.
If they do it again give smaller streamers a chance.

Maybe he will and its not like it matters, cause i was rooting for guzu / savix.
Im just saying that its in the end its up to Blizzard who won and who diden. Ppl can complain until they get blue in the face about it, until Blizzard makes new rules about it its still a win and alot of ppl would probaly have done the same if it was them in the end to win the cash. Money is Money and none are like gonna say they will pass out on it
TLDR⌠Ask Blizzard to finally stand on 1 point regarding exploiting, instead of having 1231231231 differnt terms on whats dosent and does count as a exploite
personally I just didnt like the format. xar and pika should have just won with a 30 point lead. like a best of five except its not two teams like in league but 30 duos. I like rewarding consistently good gameplay
Blizzard will bury their head in the sand and hope everyone forgets about this like they always do.
Remember back in BFA with the whole community scandels going on like gallywix community etc who was involved in RMT?
Remember how Scripe the RL of Echo addmited to engaging in RMT with them for the benifit of the RWF, and how blizzard turned a blind eye to them? Streamer privalage!
Many people got banned (and rightfully so for it), but shock horror, none of Echo or their streamers did, but the general scrubs did!
They wonât address it and the fact wowhead is also saying âcleverâ rather than what it is, exploiting, is the icing on the cake.
Blizzard wonât do anything because streamer privalage, if this was a general scrub tournament and you or me done this weâd of been disqualifed and banned for it.

Yep that was a funny one. Anyone else, âmortalâ player would be perma banned.

its not actual a bug to get up there btw
you can literally take the right spells and fly up there
it was 100% luck having the last circle there
if they didnt want people teleporting and flying they should of nerfed the arcon spell
QA team strikes again
I unlocked everything in PS, mostly finishing top 10, and I only killed 2 people. Iâm not touching it again unless they add new cosmetics to unlock.
Yeah, not a great look for their testing team. That stuff was expected to be ironed out. But, at the same time, Blizzard really didnât want another scandal â especially in a silly tiny mode like this. The original idea was âanything goesâ, and we had non-participants throughout the whole event, being praised. And commentators were already congratulating the winner on how pirate-y he wasâŚ
So, the Blizzard decided to double-down on âanything goesâ but I could still hear how they were grinding their teeth in their office even from my place of living. The clear downside isnât that that behaviourâs not sportsmanlike or whatever but that itâs just not fun to watch. PvP and escapes are fun to watch. And these arenât being properly rewarded.
Might be a good time for Blizzard to reconsider how this event works!
Its not about to get up there.
Its about the thunders dont strike up there, where they should be.

Its insane that they gave him the win rather than some in-game announcement that said âPLAYER X, GET OFF THE ROOF NOW OR BE DISQUALIFIEDâ or something.
If I go into WSG right now and cheat with the flag, hide out of bounds, its EXPLOITING A BUG and it will get you banned. No one blames Blizzard, and they punish you for taking advantage.
But if I play a battle royal and use a glitch to bypass the mechanics of the battle royal environment that FORCES movement or fighting, I win 25k instead.
The bug abuser should obviously be punished and Blizzard are embarrassing for the way they responded to it (âGive it up for our winnerrr!!! so clever!!!â).
It would have been funny if two enemy players got on two separate glitched spots and stood still.
What would happen? They both have to move? They canât both be âcleverâ at the same time can they, as it BREAKS THE MODE.

So we have a clear bug exploit in an official tournament. And nothing is happening?
Damn Blizzard are nice people, they dont mind spitting the cash to cheaters.
Looking how fast cheaters are banned on other platform, it feels good to be a pink haired wow player!

Anyone whoâs ever been banned should not be allowed to compete in any Blizzard PR exercises. Theyâve proven theyâre a dishonest person so thereâs no need to publicly associate them with your product. Itâs a stupid business decision.

Yeah the final moments made the whole thing a joke. Would I have done it? Sure. It made a mockery out of the hosts and blizzard though.

It really doesnât matter if others did it too,Blizzard shouldâve just made it clear from the get go that no one is allowed to use those spots. Now they failed both the other contenders and the people watching by not doing anything about it for the second time.
