The 10.2.6 Content Update Arrives 20 March

Hahaha my brother, the PvP event skins from a decade ago doesn’t compare to recent limited time events of which WoW is currently knocking out despite the promise of evergreen content.

And? Still not obtainable.

So feel free to qq.

Keep lapping up the hope. Creating literal content that will not last (not the rewards, the content, what part of this is getting missed) in the game is an infinite waste of resources.

Oka, sure whatever, i proven my point.

You really havent, half of the FF14 unobtainables were thanks for those who played 1.0.

Come on, show me content that is limited and isn’t a pre-patch.

If we didn’t get global release of expansions, I might believe that but we do get global relaese of expansions.

Also some storylines in Legion we got on a Tuesday evening because they came with US reset. Not EU.

That’s not how it works, we are on European data centers.

Have you been sleeping the last 3 or 4 expansions maybe? Because that problem has been fixed years ago. Expansions are enabled globally without requiring anyone to log off and log in to see the new content. You are playing at 23:59 during the prepatch without access to the expansion and the moment the clock ticks 00:00 the portal/boat/initial quests appear in front of you.

Super annoying news ! I go on holiday the 24th for a week, wtf were you thinking to make this a limited event and make it secret - idiots honestly :rage: if I miss something good …I’m unsubbing facts

Expansion launches are global releases and have way more players than a minor patch (albeit a grossly over-hyped one).
Those have gone smoothly for the previous two or three expansions. WoD had issues on launch but I think those since have been fairly smooth.

I don’t think there is any content bliz could create that will match the expecations built by all this hush-hush hint-hint.

It’s going to be a Superbloom type event most likely, a coastal location gets invaded by Pirates every hour or something. Booty Bay, Ratchet, Southshore, Menethil Harbor, Theramore, who knows where.
Maybe it’ll be more like the BFA invasions a few WQs and a scenario.

It’ll be laggy and buggy but meh.
The complaints will depend on what the incentives are. Will it be gear, a currency, fast xp for leveling alts, a bunch of more cosmetics? Will it be fun the first time and dull ever after? Will it last longer than 2 weeks before nobody is doing it? Will it be soloable at this point?

Limited time event

Why

Why why why

seriously why limited time??

If I ever reply to a customer with this sentence at my job, you can be sure the sales team will never renew the contract, whatever they promise to them. It shows a clear lack of competency to fail a launch by messing up a toggle switch.

They better be careful that their players learn better and follow other franchise

I will be a doomer but, from my pov it’s the first step of a big fail…

Limited time event… well, isn’t that a nice market strategy to bring players back. I swear, corporatism is destroying gaming

This is genuinely idiotic

This could be applied to pretty much every event in DF, from Dragonbane Kep, Feast, Time Rift to Superbloom.
The first week they’re overcrowded and laggy, the next 3 weeks they’re fine, the following few weeks they’re tricky as not enough players are doing them. So 2 months in they’re abandonned (apart from Reset Day maybe if they give some crests or flightstones that alts might want).

Is it possible to opt out of this early April fools joke? I would rather not waste any hard drive space to this rubbish.

This should have never been included on the road map as it isn’t content for live or classic its basically just another rumble / hearthstone.
