Been playing on RP realms for the closed community. Since the start of the expansion, Argent Dawn welfare faction was way more than horde in pvp because they have a giant welfare population. They have a habit of making cross realm raids and bringing russians, germans, french, whatever it takes to win. They never had the problem of being underdogs in warmode.
Now invasions are almost unplayable because we have welfares from all over EU constantly camping the quests, getting free gear. What is this garbage? Horde is better in pvp and we get punished for it? This is some 21st century consolation prize for the losers bullcrap. If they are weak, let them lose and die until they will want to get better, don’t spoon feed them free stuff because they’re bad.
But, but,…horde outnumered alliance in wm…so how is this possible…

I think it did more to help it than anything before.
Look, i’m not a world PvP fan, but with this reward i turned it on. Even forgot i had it on and finally had some positive experiences with it.
What i find amazing is that horde players, wich had a one sided contest with 10% more rewards for months and are now crying to see the other side getting incentives and fighting back.

We have priests on our raid roster, too. They spend a lot of mana. Horde doen’t need priests on their raid rosters, and even if they have them, they don’t need to spend any mana mass dispelling. How is that not a massive advantage? Come on now.
It’s good, but not as good as the horde racial - it’s still 4-5 setups every 2 minutes you have to live. Orcs, on the other hand, cuts every stun almost in half. They lose their trinket to do this, but it’s very strong.
Most of this is wrong. Arathi won’t give any iLVL 400 pieces, we’re sieging Darkshore for 385, the world boss won’t drop iLvL 400 pieces for us either, and when you siege it, you’ll get an iLvL 400 piece.

I expect Blizzard to have a system in place that removes it until such a time that alliance falls behind again, at which point it comes back until we’re balanced again. I also expect the same to happen for the horde is the horde is underpopulated.
Is not against the rules in warmode.

Any why did Horde not have “any contest” with the 10% warmode bonus? How come Ian Hazzikostas himself said that Horde and Alliance were about equal in warmode on launch? Alliance players didn’t enjoy warmode so they turned it off. Alliance ratio decreased and Horde ratio stayed the same. Sure you could buff warmode by 5-10% for the remaining Alliance players still in warmode since they were fewer. The major issue is still sharding. If you, as alliance, get in a shard with a horde raid, you can’t do much, and vice versa if you’re horde.
We’re not crying so stop claiming that we are. You can claim that Alliance were crying when they spat out lies like “oh warmode is so unfair, Horde has free 10% rewards while Alliance have 0.”
We are complaining that Blizzard went too far with buffing warmode for Alliance. It’s not Horde’s fault that there aren’t as many Alliance players who want to pvp so why should people put the blame on Horde players? Up until 8.1 things were equal and fair, even if Alliance stopped playing with warmode. After 8.1 everything went completely in the other direction by superbuffing warmode for Alliance. Personally, if you don’t want to play with warmode on, you don’t deserve to get the 20% increased rewards and the 400 weekly quest by turning it on and off when you have a group and feel confident.
So saving mana by having Torrent is not okey, but to have 2 Dwarf classes who can remove hard hitting bleeds is okey? With Torrent priests don’t have to spend mana mass dispelling. With dwarves healers can save mana by not having to heal the hard hitting bleeds Stoneform and Fireblood removes. Shadowmeld can also be used to remove fixated abilites so that’s a few mechanics you can simply remove and not have to heal at all.
Killed Ivus the Decayed 10-15 minutes ago on my ally. I bonus rolled 400 ilvl leather waist so he does indeed drop 400ilvl for you, just in time for the reset and first mythic week so we’re all even now.
How come? You can’t simply rely on racials to do the job for you. If a mechanic requires mass dispel, make sure you have at least 1 priest to deal with it(especially if you’re alliance).
So are Blizzard supposed to remove the warmode bonus once Horde are outnumbered or should they receive the bonus? Please make your mind up so I know for sure. Giving the bonus to Horde once we are outnumbered will make things fair but it’s broken AF because then factions will switch warmode each week to get the bonus(flawed system). If they remove it once numbers are equal it will be unfair AF because then Alliance got several months of free weekly raid gear as well as increased warmode bonus.

To be honest, alliance buff in WM or whatever side is so wrong I can not believe, that DEVs of the game invent this. Every of such balance to one side never prove, it’s direction was right in the past.
WM if want to win try to group up with premade tool, this is right direction to be done.
Sharding also can try to be balanced, when zone in to be put on shard with equal or near equal players both sides. Now when go for assault quest I see that alliance already dominate the zone, why I single horde get grouped automatically there? Because DEVS are lazy or if they don’t have resource for this, then is pure shame for such big game environment.
in every zone on every assault i ged ganked by group of hordes … sharding have to balanced now iv got no reason to have WM ON …
Today 8:32 AM i flying from boralus to arom stand. Today 8:44 AM im back in boralus turning-in quest 25 kills for 50cp 1500ap and 385 ilvl cache mean 390 warforged hands. Teller farm was really a farm
I do agree that Horde friendly camps are not as well guarded as Alliance ones. Heck, an Alliance camp in Zandalar is more well guarded than the Great Seal. Kind of nuts.
Other than that it is frustrating that Horde pve quests don’t give a 400 piece of gear.
Fine with giving additional things to Alliance, but we’re already sent out in the middle of Alliance territories like “hey come get your free loot, I’m a farming mat”. And during these, can’t be in a raid! We’re trying to do quests, so we can’t be in a raid, meanwhile Allies can be in raid to farm us.
Not so nice, actually frustrating, I always end up doing what I wanted to do, but it looks flawed in many ways.

In hindsight most people here, especially my fellow Horde-players, are really immature. It was totally okay to oppress the other players but suddenly, when they start to counterattack it’s unfair, unjust or simply bad game design?

Yep, I was actually wrong about this one. Now it’s exactly as bad as it was in reverse before Uldir. Funny how all the high end guilds are still horde, though. It’s almost like there are even bigger advantages to being horde than getting an iLvL 400 piece.

You need at least 2, actually. One for each side of the map. In Mythic it spawns 10 adds, and MD has a target cap of 5, so you actually need to MD twice.

If alliance and horde are roughly equally represented = No bonus for either faction
If horde outnumbers alliance = Alliance gets a bonus
If alliance outnumbers horde = Horde gets a bonus
Ideally the factions will be balanaced, but whenever they’re not, a bonus to the underrepresented faction should restore the balance.
The source is the fact that literally nobody is getting suspended or banned from it, as well as the fact that the EULA does NOT mention anything about camping players or encampments. It also wasn’t against the rules 5 years ago, which is the last time Blizzard released any document about it.
Also, the intention of warmode is for players to able to kill, camp, and even cause grief for the opposite faction. This will disrupt the playing experience for the oppposite faction, which is why they get a warmode bonus in the first place. People killing flight masters is all part of the design - to the point where flight masters actually have a special encounter design. Are you suggesting that engaging that encounter is against the EULA? If so, why does it exist? Why not just make them untargetable?
