The 9.2 Solution that could save World of Warcraft

1. Removal of Soul Binds, Legendary Items and Covenant abilities
Zovaal uses his restored power to disconnect the champion from the Covenant, de-powering them and in-turn turning off Soul Binds, Legendary Items and Covenant abilities.

2. Introduction of level 60 talent Row
The Player learned from the power once bestowed upon them by the covenants and will now have a level 60 talent row which will be 4 Tiers and includes the 4 Covenant abilities which players can now freely swap between. The former Soul Binds will be baked into the talents.

3. Introduction of the Legendary Tier 22
The 9.2 Raid will now drop Tokens which will allow you to purchase Tier 22 from a Vendor. The Item level will be determined by the level of raid you receive the token (Normal, Heroic or Mythic).

Each Tier set will be Class specific with Specialization specific set bonuses.

Each Tier set will have 4 colours which will be determined by which Covenant Vendor you purchase. Example, If you take the Normal Helmet Token to a Venthyr Vendor, you will receive the lowest Item level version of the Tier set helmet which will have a “red tint”. However if you later progress to Heroic and purchase from Kyrian. You will receive ahigher item level Helmet which will have a blue tone.

Mythic Tier will maintain the 4 color system but will have the enhanced Mythic appearance and highest Item level.

4. Introduction of Warlords of Draenor PVP Gearing System
PVP Gearing will now have 3 tiers.
Tier 1 (No PVP Gear) - Regardless of the players Item level, if the Player does not have Honor or Conquest item, His item level will be increased (or decreased) to (example) 235 item level in pvp. (Off stats will scale with Ilvl but remain with the gear NOT TEMPLATE)

Tier 2 (Honor Gear) - If a player has Honor Gear equipped, his Item level will be increased to 247 Item level in pvp. (Off stats will scale with Ilvl but remain with the gear NOT TEMPLATE)

Tier 3 (Conquest Gear) - If a player has Conquest gear equipped, it’s item level will be increased to 260 item level in pvp (Off stats will scale with Ilvl but remain with the gear NOT TEMPLATE)

Tier 3.5 (Elite Gear) - Once a player reaches 2100, He/she will unlock the elite appearance for any Conquest Item he/she currently owns.

Honor Gear will be “Armour type specific” Example which means Warlocks, Priest and Mage will share appearance. Conquest Gear and Elite Gear will be able to choose the covenant specific color Conquest (and unlocked elite set) depending on the vendor they purchased from. The Conquest/Elite gear will have a separate class specific appearance and a separate specialization specific PVP Set bonus separate from Tier 22.

5. Vault reward change
Vault will now grant Valor Point and Conquest Points (a set amount depending on the IVL rewarded from the vault) if the Items you are offered you do not want.

6. Choreghast removed and Torghast challenge mode
Torghast will now be re-designed into an optional “challenge mode” which will grant titles, toys, transmog, mounts and Pets. Each Week an additional level Opens which is harder than the next. Streamers / People who enjoy challenges and Those that want to explore can now play if they so desire because they CAN! not because they need to.

Better still 9.2 is scrapped and they deliver 10.0

Each 9.2 raid boss is a game dev who we get to beat up with Ion being the final boss.
At the end we banish him and his staff to the maw forever, lock it behind them and start 10.0 with a new set of devs

I agree with all of these, simple and fun, more skill less mindless grinding.

Nice idea, but the sad reality will be that game designers will f.uck the playerbase once more. They want to test out how far they can go, before they can make the game dead by their poor decisions.

We can dream my friend.

This is actually a very ambitioned plan. Chapeau to the OP. :trophy:

Sadly 9.2 even if its gonna be perfect wont help atm.
10.3 or 11.0, thats realistic timetable for next good patch with general player base curious to play it.

Atm best way to cash on wow is regular short seasons and seasononal rewards in ALL content for the addicted few who are left.

And its not the community fault. Its only devs apathy to the game and its players which landed us all in this scenario.

9.2 is gonna be big, this game makes money than my useless country let that sink in.

Or just… don’t have a 9.2 at all, wait for 10.0 and pray it’s a complete reset of azeroth or emerald dream expansion

tbh, at this point, given they arent even working on the game at the moment for known reasons… just sell it to square enix
9.2 wont come or it will be as barebone as 9.1
10.0 wont get developed next year and what ever comes might just be a quick cash grab from pre-orders before taking wow to a dark halley and put it out of its misery

Not bad. I especially like the covenants turning into lvl 60 talent idea.

Good suggestions, havent actually leveled to 60 yet, havent heard one person recommend it so cant talk about 1 and 2 but I imagine its spot on. Its too bad theyre just gonna keep doing stupid stuff instead.

Not a big fan of tier sets unless they only work in raids.

I liked everything except pvp gearing tbh. I don’t really think there is anything wrong with current pvp gearing atm ( excluding honor gear). Only problem is they probably need a better ranked pvp system so people won’t get stomped by boosters.
Other then that , i really think this game needs optional reputations like netherwing with cool rewards and open world content. They can brind Legion pvp wqs they were really good and rewarded some cosmetic if you do them enough or maybe Aviana rep. Aviana rep was probably coolest rep grind i ever did on this game.

I agree but I’m so over even caring. I just raid log on my guilded char and you know what? The game is so much more enjoyable.

This is killing my MIND
there are 4 covenants
how can you put 4 abilities into talent tree with a 3 options
because they will never introduce 4 options in talent tree :DD that is for SUUURE

They have a pvp talent thing , they can just make something similar to that where you can swap your covenant and soulbinds. Nothing is impossible

Funny becouse you havent fix anything. You just removed content from the game and pretty much created WoD 2.0. This game have way bigger and deeper issue than some covenants or legendary items. issue what started as far as back in WOTLK what causing this game being boring.

Just get rid of the vault and grant points depending on your chosen activity, then you can go buy raid gear to enter said raid with to unlock the transmog.
