The addon purge and m+ seasons

with the the purging of addons coming in midnight , i hope the game mechanics will become clear ,easy to follow and react accordingly without having weak auras and addons . telling you about the numerous things happening currently . now what about m+ ?when in the past two expansions +, game developers have been adding old dungeons in the season pool of dungeons. what will happen to old dungeon , will they be tuned to the new era ?

Which addon was required for keys and normal + heroic raiding? I always seem to forget it, silly me.

Are dungeon WA packs important? I tried them back in s3 dragonflight and deleted them after 2 keys.
Obviously I can only speak for myself, but using a dungeon WA pack always seemed a bit extreme, because the mechanics are easy to track and execute.

Oh you know, the one we all use :wink:. The one that “casuals” cant get and it solves all the mechanics for us, also plays our characters while we go and get tea and occasionally gives us 5$ via paypal because it likes our hairstyle.

That guy is completely insane. Accuses everyone of cheating via addons, but can’t articulate which addons cheats for me. He doesn’t even understand what Weakauras do.

I got a surprise for you… NO. Dungeons will not become easier to follow.

Which you will also have to learn to configure. You will STILL download settings from web pages, ect…

If you cant, it’s CLEARLY a L2P issue. And this “addon situation” is only a really high key problem. Clearly not yours.

It usually is a L2P issue. I was playing +24s in shadowlands with a cursed z-perl, no plater UI.

This is my current UI. No dungeon WAs, no class WA pack. If I need to track a buff, I write that myself.

It would be so great if the playerbase finally realize that the issues in high keys / CE raiding does not concern 99% of the playerbase.
None of them are progressing Fractillus. None of them are running title keys.

But it is expected to take their opinion serious. Make it make sense.

My UI is composed of: Cell (that picture is old from S1, where I used VohDoo instead). Targeted Spells WA. DBM.

And that’s about it.

It dosent. And addons for high keys are also… “debatable”. As far as I am aware, there is no single addon for M+ like the Fractillus one. An addon that tells you where to go.

So one could argue that addons are just a problem for CE raiders. Nobody else.

I was thinking if I should turn the raid frame off. But I decided against it. Somehow it feels more complete with it. :smiley:

Exactly. LittleWigs / DBM and the timeline WA are nice to have for m+, makes information easier to process, but that’s about it.
