I dont pet battle. I dont have any relevant combinations and if I do have some pets they are low level. I dont even know how to mix them correctly. I have not done pet battles since… I dont know. I havent done them except the first few of the quests.
The Q appears yellow so I dont think its daily that changes tomorow. If it is, ignore all this.
Now… as far as I know there is a mount at the end of that that aqir pet thing you feed and help grow in uldum. Few weeks of quests and I expected to eventually get it done. Now suddenly “go do some pet battles!”.
Step 1) Choose 2 undead pets, level 1, that do 25+ damage against Humanoids.
Step 2) Press 1 until the pet dies the 2nd time.
Step 3) Choose the other undead pet, repeat 2 until it dies too.
Step 4) Finish off the Mogu with the Barb.
Step 5) Hand in the quest.
I’m not a fan of pet battles but did level some pets in Legion for the falcosaur mounts. I tried using my max level pets for the mount questline pet battle and it was a disaster. Commenters on Wowhead recommended using level 1 pets (since it scales to your pet level) and that worked fine. Do a quick Google for type advantages and pick a pet with that type of attack (remember to check the actual attack type, not just the pet type). It’s annoying, but doable and you probably have collected a load of suitable level 1 pets over the years
