Flyers, invitations and scrolls would be scattered across all cities and hubs in Azeroth - calling all magi -and- otherwise envoys of organizations to Dalaran.
The Kirin Tor calls its members, agents and allies to return back to Dalaran in order to hold a gathering to share news, collaborate on common goals and discuss current topics. This entails anything from research progress to intelligence work and diplomacy across Azeroth.
The meeting will consist of two parts.
First part will be held between the Eight and Ninth bell and will only be open to the members and allies of the Kirin Tor.
The second part of the meeting, held between the Ninth and Tenth bell, will be open to all magi and envoys from factions, guilds, or other organizations who may want to keep up to date with the current topics, or otherwise request a council with the magi of Kirin Tor to request their attention on important topics.
Kirin Tor looks most forward to welcoming their allies on the Seventh of this month at Aegwynn’s Gallery in Dalaran.
OOC Rules
The event will consist of two parts as mentioned, 20:00 - 21:00 ST being only open to the members of the Kirin Tor, Sunreavers and Silver Covenant while 21:00 - 22:00 ST is open to all other mages and representatives from factions, orders, guilds. Please keep this in mind! (This is done to discuss internal Kirin Tor and Dalaran business while also trying to generate more roleplay opportunities for others.)
The purpose of this event is to provide not only Mage RP but also offer a platform to share or discuss your plotlines, ask others whether Kirin Tor or not to assist you or in general have your characters be up to date in the current ongoings of Azeroth that may be otherwise not available to them.
All rules of RP event etiquette apply.
Dalaran is a city of magic, consisting of NPC guards. Keep hostile interactions to a respectable minimum, do not instigate physical fights and most certainly do not bring dark magic banned by Kirin Tor - which is in this case death magic, fel magic, void/shadow magic. Your character may be a practitioner of these, but should not be disclosed or discovered openly.
I see no problem with openly admitting to practicing Fel magic personally, especially considering the denizens “overlooked” by the Kirin Tor in the Underbelly. Not quite grounds for a crackdown these days. It stands to reason such proclivities have no place in a meeting of magi however.
Tangent asides, this is a lovely initiative for mages everywhere. Will do my utmost to attend.
