Recently, a few of my guildmates and I discussed starting a podcast with the roleplaying community as the primary focus. including topics such as, but not limited to…
- Roleplaying discussions involving suggestions/advice for new role players.
- Event advertisement.
- “Funny Roleplay Moments.”
The overall goal of this podcast is to not only shed more light on the community but also spark people’s interest in the fun hobby that we have all enjoyed.
What do you all think? Would this be of interest to you?

Would be cool! The idea reminds me of the Gnomeregan Gnews Gnetwork from the old Blizz videos. God I feel old remembering those!

I think this sounds like a fun idea! Reminds me of the Rachet Radio podcast initiative running 2014-2016 on Argent Dawn.
I think this depends a lot on the personalities involved, as podcasts depend so much on how one vibes with the way the topics are discussed. Both in terms of entertainment, how easy the audio is on the ear, how the topics are approached, and the interaction between the speakers.
I’d perhaps start with an episode or a few without further commitment to see how the talk flows and if it attracts enough interest to keep it going?

Our aim is to do just that. To record one or two sessions and see what is right and what we can improve on. We’re all new to this, so we wanted to take the “safe approach.”
As for personalities involved? I dare say I have a few wacky members in my guild that could make things sound entertaining, if needs be!

This sounds great! I remember listening to a similar podcast regarding WoW roleplay, they sometimes invited guest speakers to give some insight/a different perspective into different topics. Might be something to consider!

How cool! It’s obviously very niche, but even to random listeners I think it’s an interesting lens into a part of the internet most aren’t aware of (or aware they might enjoy). That, and I wanna be on it >:)

Ever since RPTalks stopped being active, there’s been a void waiting to be filled by the next podcast related to this thing of ours (little reference for any mafia drama nerds 
).
Seems like a nifty initiative that could potentially get ideas shared across different RP circles.

I’ve been through a few iterations of it myself, with RP Talks being the last one. There’s been a desire to want to come back, I can honestly recommend doing the same. It’s quite fun to just have those conversations with a group of people be it live or pre-sent questions/thoughts by others. Looking forwards to seeing what you make, hoping Argent Airways thrives!

Absolutely interested, best of luck.
For a new player I would love to hear about how to dip my toes into RP, maybe hearing/reading from someone with social anxiety and how to overcome that shyness to participate in events.
