The Avowed Grind - Time to buff it/Improve it

As the title says - it is a terrible, terrible grind. I can solo the Grand mobs but it takes so long going back a fourth getting the stones, killing the mob, return to get more stones.

Buff the Rep per kill and let us stock pile the stones the travel time is 90% of the issue.

I’m doing 2000 rep a day (which is as much as my sanity can handle - half way through honoured.)

Thanks, unless I am missing something that doesn’t mention the Avowed Rep Grind (it is in Ravendreth and is mainly Venthyr)

It’s not venthyr specific, I’m grinding it as necrolord.

Sorry, shouldnt have put ‘only’ - wasn’t needed, some of the rewards are Venthyr only (though this will not mean much after 9.1.5)

Either way it is a :poop: grind

If you want to grind Awoved I simply suggest you run normal Halls of Atonement in the finder. I’m not sure wether is is better repu/hour, but you don’t really need a team for it and you can breeze through it in minutes.

It stops giving rep after a certain tier, I think after honored or after revered it stops giving your rep from HoA.

Rep stops after honoured for the dungeon. Be lovely otherwise and Blizzard don’t do ‘nice’

FastER yes, but still :poop: It is taking me 60-70 minutes to get 2000 rep (which I am doing a day) so Revered will take 10+ hours alone of just flying back and forwards, the mobs dont trouble me I can easily solo all of them

Have an upvote… if they improve this sh…grind I’ll maybe even bother with it once again… gave up on it previously because I couldn’t see any progress after spending several hours on it.

Its one of those reps that are either half finished or thrown out there for the sake of calling it content. But one thing I find funny about it(in a way) is about how much it sums up the state of wow right now. What I mean is this:

  • You need some new currency (in this case Sinstone Fragments) to even begin the grind.
  • You are pretty unlikely to engage with this unless there is some online source to shed some light on what this is all about.
  • Inquisitor stones are random.
  • Drop chances of the transmog items compete with those of old raid mounts.
  • You can only carry one type of stone at a time because…screw you, I guess?

I still havent completed it at this point, maybe I will in future but there is always the afterthought that its just more pragmatic to wait till the rares can get one shotted.

20 or so hours for a rep isn’t that rare and not that bad. That being said the rewards are just not up to snuff.
