I am sure all of y’all are well aware of the Honeyback Harvester mount. Truly a lovely specimen - my favorite, actually. Though still, there are some things that I would love if they changed for it.
Firstly, I feel like it would be wonderful if the mount got some new animations for when you are using it on the ground. It hovering above is actually the main reason why I do usually use other mounts, as they aren’t obscuring as much vision. While it is still a rather chunky mount, I feel like the size would be much more bearable!
And then the issue that I think many can emphasize on with me. Why can’t it be used on Horde characters as well? My suggestion is to keep the grind for Alliance characters, sure, but let us use it on others too, please! Or could use one of the recolors that were shown back then - more orange and then a black version.
The bee was a response to complaints about the excess of horses in the alliance and lack of originality that blizzard demonstrated on many occasions with said faction.
For this reason, I see okay that it can only be used by the alliance, just as in the alliance we cannot use many horde mounts.
I understand, though in a way it feels really pointless to do such limitations. Honestly horses are also some of the most simple, thus most well usable ground mounts in my opinion. Easy to fit with about anything.
Well, that is your opinion. I personally find horses super bland and don’t care for them.
I never did the bee grind, but I had forgot what the poster above said, and he/she might be right that it was given to the alliance because the horde had a larger variety of mounts. I vaguely remember countless complaints about this.
Oh of course. A variety is appreciated, that’s for sure, however what I meant is that some limitations feel pointless. There is a number of Horde only kinds of mounts that I’d love for my Alliance characters, same thing for the Horde ones.
And also - me liking horse mounts is my thing. Others don’t have to share it at all. I just feel like having someone having been on the receiving end of more plain things isn’t a good enough reason to not let the other side to have an access to something, let alone those chunky fuzzy buzzers.
I think there isn’t a still obtainable mount on Horde side that does not have its model available to Alliance to my knowledge.
On second thought there is a single one: the goblin trike.
There is little reason for the Bee to stay exclusive indeed. Grind it out on an Alliance character? Reasonable, but that should be the only requirement.
I hate it that Blizzard never bothered to implement a proper landed-mode for some flying mounts, not even now with dragonriding. How can they not understand that some mounts are annoying as hell when grounded? And the bee for example hovers at a height that you could just as well achieve just by lifting off a little bit even if it had a landed state.
The mechanical chopper (I mean the flying machine) mount is such an annoyance, too. The only way to be landed is to use the special mount animation which only works for a couple seconds. And to add to the trolling, Blizzard also added this animation as a random emote so that the rattly thing keeps alternating between both states.
Speaking of random mount emotes: I often dismount from the dragonriding mount because I want that damn dragon to shut up already instead of announcing repeatedly to everybody in a ten mile radius that I am here.
Blizzard has always been iconic for bad emote RNG.
I think theyre great myself.
I wont use them because there are much cooler mounts in the game. But i like them nonetheless.
It was the horde mounts from BFA that i thought were awful. There was a variety of them sure, but trash is still trash regardless of quantity. Lol

The bee was in the game from the very start of the expansion. It just wasnt obtainable until later.
The same is true of other flight point mounts like the vultures.
Personally i think giving it to the alliance was the plan all along.
I know but i doubt they would have made it a flight point mount, from an area all to do with bees and honey, if they never had any intention of making it a mount for players to collect.
They also made other flight point mounts obtainable later in the expansion.
I just dont think it has anything to do with alliance players complaining.
Theres no reason to assume it wasnt in their plans from the start.
what hapends if the bee runs of stamina ? u fall to ground and die
a mecha mount has no stamina when mecha mount start to run out of fjule it start to say putt putt putt so u know u have to land and refill it
