Forest trolls make very little sense at the start of the expac
Maybe after we quest with them, its possible we’ll get them later in the expac like we did the original allied races: when it made sense for them to join us.
I’m also not sure how the best compromise is a merger of blood and high elf which will eventually just lead to high elf losing all their identity and practically becoming blood elves.
If your suggestion is high elves and blood elves become friends, then my response is the best part about them is that they aren’t. Their story as adverseries is 1000x more interesting then them reunited.
Also SMC remains a horde city, regardless of wether 2/3rds are neutrally accessible. Any compromise that doesn’t mention this honestly is dead in the water.
idk how you manage to say its a compromise when I feel its all take and no give, it doesn’t feel like a fitting compromise,
And there also is no one to compromise with, because at the end of the day, its blizzard that decides all these things, not us.
always be careful when brandishing blizzards promise around with a smug attitude because there’s a big chance this was just marketing speak for we’re going to have another great existential threat that will force faction cooperation.
I really doubt it’ll be more then that and honestly, while I do like high elves as I feel like they improve the blood elf experience;
we saw very little high elf thematics in the trailer, I think unless they’re going to introduce a whole new group, the silver covenant is the only group of high elves still active in a story you could see as a representation.
They also said full horde city but that later turned out to be 2/3’rds neutral (which I imagine means 3 total districts, of which 2 are neutral rather then a perfect mathmetical division)
Maybe it will be as you say, maybe it won’t, but from experience, blizzards choice of words are often decided by marketing.
No, the blood elf name exist since warcraft 3 TFT during the NE campaign
“The Scourge devoured our ancient homeland of Quel’Thalas. The once-proud bloodline of my people is nearly spent. The few of us that remain now call ourselves blood elves, in homage to our murdered people.” – Kael’thas Sunstrider
eh, blizz can disappoint a lot but I am quite sure we will end up with something like amirdrassil, it’s how their writing style is nowadays that is all.
I said high elves are allowed in quel’danas, despite being alliance, I am aware of void elves not being allowed in Quel’danas.
Allowed or shared, it doesn’t change the fact that Alliance will be grinding rep in Silvermoon court and be allowed to walk around in 2/3 of the city.
Not yet no, but we are gonna have a deeper dive in 2 days, and alpha will be out soon so, we will see. I do not personally have the fanatic attitude of: OMG I NEED A HELF RACE, as we have velf as is, and they can have helf custimizations, and that’s more than enough for me personally, but with how things are I doubt silvermoon will remain hostile to other elves, by the end of the xpack, kinda like bel’ameth.
I am not? x’D I literally said we will see what will happen in some days probably, and we KNOW the rep faction is called court of silvermoon, so calm, yes?
