What do you think has been the biggest plot twist in WoW by far?

I think it is when we all died from Argus in phase 3 and the first time it happened people were like “why did we wipe!?” eventually, this ended up being part of the fight and everyone was highly frustrated at first :smiley:

Also, storywise, I think that there will be a big plot twist with Sylvanas (not actually being the black sheep) and Anduin who will turn out to do something terrible.

Arthas story, and his aproach to Stratholme.

Beside that everything is lineral and “predictable”?

Sure Argus wipe was “WTF” at first. But it isn’t the first time we died, as we died to Arthas back in a day too didn’t we?

Story wise Sylvanas is a monstrosity that should have been slain long ago.

Correction Sylvanas should have been slain long ago. For me it is Wrath Gate. I knew nothing of what was going to happen and then the whole Putress and Varian quest line which sadly isnt in the game anymore was awesome.

Meh, it happened with Arthas first, maybe even before that. At least with Arthas it made more sense.
