Haha. And I thought my case was one in a kind. My main had bad luck with shards so I went lfr to farm them. Even without trying much I outdpsed everyone by a large margin. I didnt speak in chat about it, didnt spam dmg reports or anything. Heck I didnt say anything at all in chat. Just minded my own business and did my thing…

Doing LFR from time to time for whatever reason and from what I’ve seen in there, I do really believe this is the case. You could just do random things and hit the boss a bit and it will just fall over eventually, unless people are genuinely trying to wipe. The few mechanics that haven’t been completely taken out of the encounters are usually nerfed to a point where they aren’t deadly, or even very dangerous anymore, so failurue isn’t really punished most of the time.
All of my LFR experience is, genuinely, people just running around, smacking the boss, doing very low damage, mostly ignoring mechanics, and the boss just falls over even with several people dead who managed to screw up badly enough to die.
Sort of agree. LFR and other similar content like normal and heroic dungeons aren’t near difficult enough, or even attemp to prepare the player for anything in the higher difficulties. I’m not necessarly saying they should be more difficult to complete, but some introduction to basic mechanics like interupting, dodging frontals and ground effects etc.
Something that will make the player go “oh, I should probably interupt that cast next time” or “oh, I should probably pay more attention to this and not get hit by it”, without it outright killing or wiping them. Because right now, basically anyone can just power through this stuff without really a single thought, and once they jump into a higher difficulty, they have no idea what to do because nothing was ever dangerous before, but now suddenly everything is.
I’m fine with storymode raids if that’s what people want.
In my opinion the problem with LFR are those 10/10 Heroic players that just click one spell to tag boss and stand AFK for seven or ten minutes, actually everyone that stand AFK is a problem.
I queued for Sylvanas LFR on my monk alt when she still needed Shards, these players were doing 2k DPS… 2k!
Now, sure not all know how to play their class in LFR and not everyone is capable of understanding that standing on Rive is bad, but when you see only two DPS doing DMG and all others stand below the 2k DPS there’s a problem.
Not sure how Blizzard can fix it, maybe reduce the number of people on certain wings or auto kick people that enable follow on someone after clicking one spell.
It is really annoying, after two pulls of seeing this constant behavior I left the group and never queue for Sylvanas again.

You’d be surprised how many people play their spec so badly they genuinely do that DPS while trying. I used to be in a guild that had a normal team, and I checked their logs out of curiosity, and I saw a DH having several seconds downtime between each ability and pressing chaos nova and interrupt on the boss on CD.
That’s not to flame that player or anything. I used to be this bad once upon a time. I’m just saying that it’s not that uncommon to come across players who really are that bad at their class, especially in LFR.
And I’ve never seen people just tagging the boss and going afk… or maybe I just didn’t notice them becuase the boss died like nothing regardless and that’s what I was there for, not to check on how other people are going.
or even suggesting stupid stuff like a hc or mythic tactic

and i see one tank on guardian running in 1 place with lag+ 1 or 2 dps afk standing and being called out gets them to move next time maybe i wont no tag no loot
they got this attitude of where 1 wipe means=insult other ppls dps because i stood in bad
ive also had half a raid die on one boss and i truly ask are they new players or bots leeching off the others

I don’t understand your point. IT IS JUST LFR. Don’t make a Mythic out of something that is not MYTHIC raiding.
I had a tons of players who I have argued that what we did in raiding was borderline worse than LFR, they thought they were super cool at raiding.
So yeah, it’s just LFR and don’t make a science out of it. You should not make science out of Mythic raiding either.
There is nothing making mythic raiding about players only autoattacking in LFR and then saying ‘it is only LFR’. I had a 9k hps on guardian because protocol and people outside. But it is only LFR of course. I had someone with 14 stacks during the sylvanas intermission. I didnt even know there were 14 balls to dodge. But only LFR of course.

I remember that most groups “farmed” determination stacks up to 6-7 before even attempting it.
Ye and that is why ppl from lfr come to nm and do a lot of mess because there is not any mehanic …just yolo it
Go on Alliance and go to Fatescribe or Sylvana will refresh your memory
Same people asking for it to be removed
Same people fighting for it to stay
Same argument since DS and Cata
Shame some people can not keep there faces out of other peoples fun there the real problem.

Idk what the problem is with lfr that you speak of… every raid i’ve joined, the boss went down.
There isn’t one that i had to leave because we couldn’t kill the boss, ever.
Maximum wipes were like 3 or so… maybe Fate or maybe Sylvanas, can’t remember.
There is absolutely no problem with lfr, you wipe? good, keep hacking at it, you’ll get determination stacks and it makes everything much much easier.
LFR is good for: mogs, mounts, pets, alts, anima (lol), shards, embers or whatever they were called, mains who want casual raiding.
It’s a good format and it’s here to stay most likely.
