The people who have it actually got a updated model for free in BFA i think. Why? No idea considering most of the people who have it quit a very long time ago.

I disagree? Back in WoD, I thought it was an odd choice to add HD remakes of the wolves and other existing mounts instead of just updating the old models.

I think every reward should be gatekept behind effort/skill/cooperation/etc. with lots of time limited stuff, that never returns. The thing is that people need to learn to control their emotions, and be happy with what they have, not always be jealous and focus on what they don’t have.
If I get a reward after putting in effort, I’m happy about what I got. I don’t feel insecure, if others have stuff I can’t get. If everyone can have everything, nothing is unique, and nothing means anything

I haven’t decided if I play Legion Remix. I think bringing back that old Aotc mount is not good, was a bad decision by Blizzard. They should expect players to emotionally endure to just not have something from the past, and introduce new rewards that are designed in the same spirit or in a similar theme at least. That’s enough compromise. Making HD remasters is also fine, but they need to just let vanity time limited rewards stay how they are. Else nobody’s gonna respect anything they do and just ask to get everything with lowest friction possible.

Well they don’t, and put in old rewards, that are exclusive. So, kind of need to bring it all back now, while they’re at it. Just to make it fair you know. Wrong of them to chose what is exclusive/prestige/vanity items, as they both are tied to a season/expansion and got removed. Like every other AOTC mount/mythic + mount. So… One can still hope they bring it all back.
I got the stuff from before, I don’t care if it get brought back, happy for people to enjoy the stuff they haven’t been able to obtain before due to various reason.
But they didn’t. They chose not to let those items brought back stay so, so now they kinda have to give it all out. And I’m all for it.

I don’t wanna be “debate”-andy, I just usually describe how I feel with many words: But here I wanna remind you that it’s a very common fallacy to say that only because something was damaged, it needed to be broken fully. I generally think it’s not a sensible attitude. Dragonflight has shown that the way they handled bringing back old rewards was wrong, because I think people only cared for the old pixelated stuff due to their time-limited exclusivity, and as soon as they had access to it, many stopped caring. And it’s gonna be the same with everything else they bring back, so better just stop. Remastering some item from classic and then reworking an instance upscaled to max level, and having it there as a reward at some anniversary event would be a better approach I think.
