So I decided to add all my previous talking points in here since TWW is almost over now and we will get the Midnight trialer in August according to the roadmap. There are many issues the blood elf community has to face since all their content from before was from 2007 and is pretty much outdated at this point now. We need a renewal and there are serveral ways to deal with it really.

For beginners we have customization options.

Right now the void elves looked better cuz their creator is from Legion and is therefore more polished. From faces to beards and hair styles there is alot need of improvement here.

Next issue is the overall graphics. Make Eversong pretty and update the old engine to whatever this expansion used. Trees, animals, cities and such. All of that needs to be implemented and repaired.

Next is the Ghostlands. With the scourge gone we now have all the tools to make whole what was lost. There are many settlements still who was full of ghosts before and are a perfect staging ground for a followup zone between lvl 10 and 20.

Leadership. Bring back all the old Belf characters we knew before and can make an effort of unity. From Kayn to Voren’thals the kingdom is not short of talents to lead us and I am certain Lor’themar would appreciate the help here. And it adds to class fantasy simply because every organization should be represented somehow.

Boat route, c’mon now we can do better then some lame portals for sure. Like the Sunsail Anchorage is right there and we can add like 4 or 5 different ships that can sail on and explain how we reach our different allies. Since permanent portals are not canon.

New classes. I have been waiting for blood elf druids ever since we saw the one boss in the Botanica and it is long overdue to make it happen. I am sure all their animal forms would be amazing.

Throne room of Silvermoon. It has barley any glory and I feel like the most fashionista race of the franchise deserves some gold and glitter here. If Silvermoon is revamped then the headquarters of our kind of royalty should reflect the rising phoenix to some degree.

My final point here comes now and I leave the comments to the other users of this forum so maybe they have other ideas then just me. Alright. Here it comes. I totally believe that Blizzard needs to stop killing Horde characters just to raise the stakes. We have almost no one left. If you kill anything do it to the alliance leadership that would be a welcomed change.

I really, really disagree there. I wish we could get some normal belf hairstyles on them because I don’t really want to look like I have just come out a lake.

I think the problem there is that they’re dead. That’s the large tragedy of blood elves and why they are blood elves - they lost so many people. Really, we need the current leaders to actually have some sort of role and personality.

I genuinely don’t care for ships but I can see the use of one going to the Isle of Quel’danas.

Technically they just killed an alliance character but I agree, I want less deaths and more passing on the torch to new and interesting characters.

Hold them next to each other while using normal skin tones. Void elves look more polished.

It is their best shot to update the TBC starting zones.

Not talking Kael’thas here. I mean Kayn and Voren’thal.

Lor’themar doesn’t even half the lore Alleria got in TWW alone.

The new model was already leaked. I have faith we can finally travel to all other Horde cities without the portal.

Well yes Renzik is dead but they killed Gallywix at the same time.

We are running out of non B tier listers that can lead. Soon we will be forced to conscript Johnny the blacksmith as next warchief.

I’m still skeptical about that. I didn’t see a body under that mech suit after he died… inb4 he is a giant void boogle later on.

The only thing I would chage is the horde symbol and replaced it with typical elf one, we’re having on banners in Silvermoon City.

They have been 18 years Horde loyal for now. SO why not show which side you belong to?

Eversong Woods, Ghostlands & Isle of Quel’Danas

All three zones are untouched since their release in TBC. I think many people are expecting an overhaul of those zone in upcoming expansions. Not just allowing us to fly, but also some evolution of the zones, modernization of architecture.
It’s been ages since Arthas attacked Quel’thalas - so why not see it now renewed?

  • Will Ghostlands be back part of greater Eversong Forest?
  • Will it grow back in thalassian colors as the northern part of the forest?
  • Will we see change to Dead Scar?
  • Revamp of Silvermoon City?

I think there are many questions and also many wishes from playerbase, especially from blood elves fans.

Leadership

Currently, Lor’themar Theron is still being titled as ‘Regent Lord’. This was OK while Kael’thas was not present. Right now we know, that there is no return of Sunstrider Dynasty.

  • Will Lor’themar and Thalyssra be crowned as the King/Queen of Sin’dorei?
  • Who else could be the leader of Quel’thalas?
  • Would it make more sense to have a council instead?

Midnight and Unification of Elven Tribes

As it was stated on Blizzcon, we will unify the scattered tribes of elves.
Personally for me this mean, that all originial ‘thalassian’ members (blood, void, high) will unify to fight against the Void and to save Sunwell in upcoming expansion.
Even though many wishes that they unify and create back again High Elven Race (is possible, but …) personally I think with ‘unification’ they meant some sort of ceasfire so they can fight against common enemy. We’ll see what they have for us. The expansion should be revealed this summer of 2025.

  • If they would ‘unify’ all thalassian elves, would it mean that Silvermoon would become a netural hub? Similar to Bel’ameth
  • For sure we can say, we’ll return to Quel’thalas as it was stated on Blizzcon. How impactful this zone will be for the new expansion will be revealed soon

Character customization

  • Option for body/face tattoo. The elves in general are known for marking their bodies with various runes or tattoos. We can see this with night elves or nightborne, we can see this also with high elves.

  • More facial hair options and more hairstyles. I think many would agree that blood elf males are having kind of limited options regarding facial hair.

  • Body option - this is not just wish for blood elves but in general - option to choose height, option to choose if your character is skinny or more bulky.

  • This is not character customization, but new model of Hawkstrider Racial Mount and new model of Flying Racial Mount would make happy many of us.

Bonus

Spellblade / Spellbreaker / Battlemage

  • new class exclusive for all ‘thalassian’ elves
  • with same approach we could have exclusive classes for other races too

I really hope it’s a call to arms and that we see a Blood Elf vs Naga invasion of Quel’Thalas in the pre-patch

Throw in small Easter Eggs from W3, where these two races were united, but now they are extremely hostile enemies.

Hell, I’d even say - throw Lestharia Vashj in there and have her blame the Blood Elves for the death of her daughter.

I just really would like a sole “Blood Elf vs Naga” battle.
