Well, that’s simple.
It’s publicity + free advertisement, why give it to some nobody… when you can give it to somebody with hundreds/thousands of viewers?
You do get a lot of regular non streamers being able to play, just big streamers would always get the beta keys.
Prefox apparently didn’t get beta invite.
I heard from a streamer, that they will do multiple waves.
In the end apparently quite a sum of people are able to play at once.
