The Captive King

This is the quest that comes after Signs of the Lion which I have completed, last week. I am at renown lvl 22 yet Bolvar has nothing for me, what am I missing?

Seems no one has the answer in game either.

You should have got The Captive King right after Signs of the Lion. Its just a quick “Peer into Torghast” using the helm of domination to watch a cutscene.

Go through the portal in Oribos and the quest should pop up.

My Brother told me he found out he can’t do that quest because he hasn’t killed Sire Denathrius yet.

I don’t know if he was right, it didn’t sound right but I’m too lazy to double check.

Might be worth looking into.

I’m not getting the quest either (finished signet quest last week) and I found no mentions of how to get it to pop up. I haven’t completed castle nathria either so it’s plausible that’s what triggers it.
Kinda annoying there’s no indication what needs to be done. If I go do a raid I don’t really wanna bother with yet and it turns out the raid wasn’t the requirement I’m not gonna be too pleased

You have to have beaten Denathrius for the final quest, after the Corridors one.

I have not killed Denathrius.

/script print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(61730))
Results that I have completed this quest.

Thanks folks, Ive not killed Denathrius either however I do vaguely recall after completing the Signs of the Lion quest getting another one in which it shows you Slyvanas trying to offer Anduin a choice. It seens Shammoz is correct , wowhead shows me that The Captive King is the last of the initial quests so I dare say we wont get more until the next patch.

The quest you named that require to killa sire denathrius is the one that give to you 750 anima. But isnt directly related to the quest to search Anduin

So no more quests from Bolvar? Is it safe to complete Torghast just for the soul ash?
I don’t want to repeat it in case Bolvar offers me a quest.
I completed the aforementioned quests already.

@Melhas ( I dunno how to quote ) if youve completed the Sign of the Lions and then done the quests available immediatley afterwards then yes to my knowledge you will just do Torg for soul ash , there is a new Torg event just released so thats avail to do as well.

Thanks, and one more question. Does your wanted level from the Maw transfer to Torghast?
I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere.
By the way, you can reply by pressing the reply button placed on the bottom right corner of every post.
Or quote the post from the editor (the box you write in).
Sorry no screenshot I can’t add it.

No, that’s strictly in the Maw.

Ah sweet, cheers oh and as Beerwoolf says the Maw’s wanted level is strictly for the Maw.

P.S I dont suppose you know about versatility as in does it work the same in pve as it does in pvp?

This means we have to wait for Sire Denatrius to be available in LFR before we can get started on this last chapter?

It’s a single quest that essentially serves to bookend the events of this patch. It makes sense for it to be done after denathrius is defeated, and you’re not really missing out on anything substantial for the time being. There’s no more soul ash, and after the twisting corridors quest nothing else even requires you to leave Oribos.

It’ll be available in lfr in a month or so.
