The change to CC is probably the worst thing for the game

Why on earth did they give CC a threshold now. Too often i am taking anywhere from 10-50% of my HP before something breaks, then that gives opponents plenty of time to line up the really big hits with no chance to outplay it. I got seduced while having 4 people attack me, for seduce to NOT break, then lose the rest of my health to a chaos bolt.

it´s a good idea that traps/fear dont break instantly because some classes have a m+ spell backed into the single target rotation (feral brutal slash for example)

but blizz made the threshold too high, gouge is the best example.

They had opportunity to test it, because over time several classes had talent which make their CC unbreakable on damage, for example warrior had it with fear… if you are lucky your fear coud act as stunlock, and cheese someone. Thats how it worked.

Game just not behave well with CC which is suposed to break but not break, feeling is that game is buged actually. It feels like game sometimes do not register that breakable treshold.

This change need to go away, pretty bad stuff… it simply add more cheese moments in game.

they fired the entire QA Team, there is a Reason why 2 different Guilds got the World first, and the World second Kill with an Exploit

there is also a Reason why Master Call is bugged, or why it is possible to get a Dc while u Charge/getting priest leap in the same time when someone roots you

Also a Issue with Pet sac on MM Hunter

or the Bm Rework in season 1 what Gave Hunter a dmg bug what onetaped everyone in the Arena

im already at a point where i can build a Bingo, my next guess is the Tentacles of the new corruption enchants will not have a Single pvp mod and it ticks u for 500k down per second.

my guess is more of an issue with the threshold itself, on high dmg/crits it breaks really quickly from what i have seen, but not from bleed/high dot dmg, or on “normal” big hits

for example

it breaks on a 3 mio mortal strike instantly, but not on an 2 mio mortal strike into another 1.5mio mortal strike, im really bad into explaining such things, but this is what i noticed so far, they should make the threshold just max 500-700k dmg thats it, nothing less and nothing more

alone that u can get hit for 1 mio + without breaking it is such another Micro cc on a already existing micro cc problem

so with the changed they did nothing except adding more micro cc which is already completely toxic for the game.

thats too , it simply add more cheese moment in game when some classes get insane damage modifiers on victims which CC not break.

They shoud revert this change on next reset…
its just not work well, it bring nothing to game beside more low skill cheese moments.

This change was one of most stupid changes they ever tryed in arena if not most stupidest.

I think they had it mostly right before the cc change. Trap should break because you can play diamond ice. Poly/Ring and any rogue cc should break insta because rmx is already busted so there should be some ways to counterplay etc.

the thing about trap, it´s just goofy that spells like brutal slash are baked into the “main rotation” while doing 100k aoe dmg, and breaking trap by accident, wish they remove this spell completely

Lmao theres no doubt, thats for sure, nothing feels more horrible than the Kidney/gouge setup currently
