Why is it not possible to set height or body shape for a specific race? You put 10 dwarves next to each other, it won’t differ in anything other than the transmog. Also in the lore, are all dwarfs the same height and all of them are muscular? Are there any that are a little shorter/taller or chubbier than the others? There must be a minimum-maximum adjustable height for each race. There are simply too few opportunities to customize a character. And you can hardly choose anything from them.
Not a feature for WoW sadly enough, some other MMO’s does have this because they made this in mind.
But in WoW everything is made with fixed body sets and we still have problems with armor clipping right through. I dread to see a long-bearded dwarf cousin of the night elves stretching out over dwarves only to see the whole armor clip covering his upper torso and not his stomache lol.
It would be very interesting if we could have the kind of customisation Baldur’s Gate has, alas one can only dream.
Everything can be solved, you just have to take the time.
I’m not saying that I want to see tauren-sized dwarves and dwarf-sized tauren, but if, for example, they could be half a head taller/smaller, that would also make the game look a little better.

Toys do that so it should absolutely be doable
All that is needed is the willingness on the other side to make this happen.
