I’ve read various topics on WoW forums which touched this topic ever since Goblins were fleshed out as a playable race in Cata.
What are your opinions? Do you think WoW Humans are the most similar in-universe culture to IRL humanity, or would you rather call Goblins those who are most similar to us?
This is interesting because Humans seem to portray an idealized image of Medieval European humanity, while Goblins seem to be a very dystopian and amoral depiction of modern human society.
