The original item “Devouring Cold” of the Shadowlands Raid can be equipped on the back, if choosen the given option.
But transmogging the sword doesn’t even have the option to wear it on the back.
Just on the left side like most other weapons.
The Hungering Cold from Kel’thuzad in Naxxramas is worn on the back too.
It would be great to include this option for the transmogged version of The Devouring Cold too !
