I’m sincerely quite shocked that a few of the people on here are legitimately upset and angry about being whispered a perfectly pleasant and polite offer to instance. However I don’t suppose we can ever know what people have went through in life for them to react to this kind of whisper so it’s really not for me to judge

Since I moved server I havent had as much issue since im well above the level curve; people have been whispering me asking if I want to dps.
After reading this topic I realized that the situation on my server must be different. I received such a whispers only a few times. Now if everyone would just mass-spamming those whispers with addon not waiting for response but inviting first who answered and ignoring the rest, I might imagine that it gets old very quickly.
My groups usually end up needing a tank since I am always willing to be the healer even though I am leveling as Enhancement. I have whispered a lot of tanks and usually that is the way my groups have gotten one.
But generally I give a person a brief time to reply before whispering the next person.
Plenty of Druids are also able and willing to tank.
If people whisper me while I am actively looking for a dungeon, thats great. Saves me the time to look myself.
If I am busy questing, farming or doing whatever else its an annoyance.
EDIT: Lets make a comparison with Real Life. If I walk out in public and some random dude wants to hand me a pamphlet about some random stuff I dont give a crap about, its an annoyance. Im only out here to go shopping, not talk about Jesus or whatever with you.
Even on Earthshaker between guildies and LFG I’ve not had a issue finding a group.
I’ve had it a couple of times that people would whisper me whether I’d want to come heal and it didn’t bother me. I had some really fun groups that way actually 
It would peeve me a little tho if I’d whisper back to say I want to and then be told the group is full. In that sense I’d recommend waiting a little bit before going to the next person, I wouldn’t bother replying to you next time if that happened.
That doesn’t seem like a very fair comparison for a few reasons, though I don’t really like the flier dudes either It isn’t some random topic that has no relevance to you, the instances are based on level ranges and you’re only searching people who are likely to use the instance at some point anyway.
However even with that aside, i’m sure people would rather receive a few random and seemingly useless whispers from people, than having to face an hour or more (3+ hours from what i’ve read at least) in the LFM chat.
Maybe not everybody here shares that philosophy, but i’d rather just disregard them, than subject people to that. Especially with individuals complaining of exclusion due to spellcleave etc.
Surely everyone knew all this already? it’s 2019!!
better yet, make an addon to spam classes like healers or tanks, 100 at a time, with requests and invites

Well I would have assumed so, but there were still many threads about having to take hours to find a group. So instead of writing the same advice everytime, I just made a thread 
Either by coincidence or otherwise, the posts have stopped!
That’s why i only ask one or couple at the time. Wait for their replies min or two and then move on to asking new people
