The dungeons will be a mess forever.
A bad precent has been set and people can say no it won’t, but dungeons will only get worse as follower dungeons only do normal.
Dungeons will now always be bad throughout the war within. The mass pulling, no healing, tanks not holding aggro, abuse, being kicked, and it will be the norm and present for the next two expansion as well.
It’s a mess, HC and mythic follower dungeons can’t come soon enough. I’d take a follower system build them up and have fun in a dungeon over the mess it will now be in dungeons until the last titian.
And yes, I can tank them but I want to have fun and not this complete mess.
You want ruin your game? Just add difficulty levels and see how things go south. There is reason why games with 1 difficulty have most polished player experience ever.
These tanks are still adjusting coming from MoP classic. Give it time, they need to ease into it.
On a more serious note m+ will be an entirely different story. I can’t keep up with leaping, charging or flying tanks in HC dungs but it’s mostly fine because it’s easy. Do this in m+ and see what happens.
I’d say the poor practice from Blizz (making leveling harder after EA and not before, while it was so blantantly obvious that scaling is broken af) left a bigger black mark on dungeons (andd leveling ofc). Tanks not being able to hold aggro, votekicks andd all are nothing new lol.
No, I did dungeons but nice of you to tell me what i did. The leveling nerf just hit now as well. Things are going to get stupid very quickly. It seems blizzard will never change.
I have to thank follower dungeons, I can finally stay well away from other people. It wasn’t always like this, I once enjoyed doing content with a group, but now I really don’t want to do that any longer.
While there have been some positive experiences, the bad ones are way more, so I’m glad I can finally play alone (mostly). I’m only going to tackle group content with known friends, if ever, and LFR only because there aren’t follower raids. Yet.

If dungeons had been kind of…challenging? it would’ve been a learning curve. I’m not saying normal dungeons (or levelling ones for that matter) should be hell, but come on.
I just had a tank pull everything in one corridor (we’re levels 77+, not 80) and between my healing not being super powerful and them not being to hold aggro, that was an interesting experience.
It is what it is I guess, but having this kind of brand new dungeons has only fostered bad habits from day 1 of a new expansion. Let’s see how these people handle M+.
