There are no hard specs~ the only difference is number of spells you have to use. Thats why Havoc can be considered braindead easy where Unholy can be considered hard. Still I dont feel like any of them are actually “hard”. Pressing more buttons does not make things harder~ just more annoying.
It have been one of the most easy specializations to dps with since WotlK for me.

This expansion I find destro warlock quite hard with all the movements, pushbacks, slows, silence etc. Just not used to have to stand still and hardcast after playing melee for over a decade.
In general, I find any DPS pretty easy to play after some time with it. Healing and tanking isn’t always as smooth though, because there’s a lot more you need to think about. I do agree that DH is probably one of the easier tanks to pick up however. With other tanks I feel like I’m sitting at the cockpit of a plane and have a thousand buttons to press, and I need to make sure they are pressed at the right time or everyone on my flight will die in a horrible crash.
I’m playing BM hunter after i boosted him and maaaan… you can relax while dpsing, you do your rotation when suddenly big purple circle is appearing under your feet, what you do? just relax, strafe a bit while not losing any dps, this is by far the best dps experience i had in BFA. // #bmhunterbias
Easiest for me is DH / BMNothing is quite as easy to play as these
Hardest feral Druid, they still are the most demanding specc, snapshotting and more still existing in the specc just raises the skill ceiling of potiental for the specc.
Not that it’s really a jab at any specc, something easy can still be fun to play, and as far as I’ve heard these speccs are pretty satisfying to play.
Easiest for what? For world content, I find disc priest super easy as you can keep yourself alive quite effortlessly while killing things. For doing dungeons where people avoid the avoidable damage, again it’s pretty straightforward. For dungeons where everyone takes a load of damage (hello bursting weeks!) it’s horrible and stressful and not at all easy!
For me personally, I lack spatial awareness and really struggle with any melee classes and staying in range of things/moving while dpsing. So for me, fury warrior is one heck of a lot harder than affliction warlock. Similarly healers who do melee DPS are far harder for me than druids, priests and shaman. But that’s all personal and subjective - as will be the case for everyone’s answers!
Easier- Unholy DK, because lot of your damage comes from pets and you don’t have this window like frost DK has, where you must damage and not move away from boss.
Harder- Frost DK, because you got this damage window where you must line up abilities. If you pop it on wrong time, get cc-d or miss to use ability in that window, you won’t have any significant damage.

What I find is all classes are somewhat easy to play. But all classes have little tricks that makes mastery them interesting. However simple a class might seem I found there are always little things that can make gameplay better. No class is so easy to play that it is “dumb”.
However if we take the skill required to do certain content, like high level mythic+ keys, high level arena or mythic raiding, these are the classes I find hardest:
I think all classes are pretty easy to play but for less simplisitc, more engaging (though not really so far as to make it really complex) classes that I find have bit more substance are Arms warrior and Unh DK, which is why they’re my favourite classes just after my mage.
If I had to choose hardest for me it is probably warlock because it takes lot of skill for me to not get depressed by their current class design and just wither away.
If you are looking for somewhat “objectively easiest” that you want to play. Destruction Warlock if you’re interested for PvP (please don’t) is quite simple these days. Honestly Sin rogue is quite easy too imo, realy there isn’t really anything hard about it in my opinion.
oh god. so much this. i gave demon hunter in legion a shot and you had to kind of auto attack to get some…rage…or points…or whatever it was iirc, cant quite remember though. anywho, i just remember that i always stood either too far away or too close so i never gained that source effectively/reliably. that demon hunter didnt even make it to 110 before i deleted it. it was just too infuriating.
same goes for mistweaver. i love monk healers, i even mained one in legion but i just cant deal with meleeing while healing. same goes for heal pala. i ve stopped leveling one and now shes stuck at level 60ish and rots away until something changes.
i do play resto druid though and i only very rarely use cat form. i usually just solar and wrath it. take my 15k dps or leave it.
however, “ranged” healers and ranged dps classes are no problem for me at all whatsoever. some people enjoy meleeing though as healer. each to their own i guess.
