You have that on every server. People undercut until there’s no profit to be made, at which point demand will exceed supply, leading to higher prices, and the cycle repeats.
You can make easy 200g per day flipping on AH.
I am flipping for about 3 weeks now and I’m at 1500 gold and I’m not even trying. You just tab in, go over your list, tab out for 20 mins and so on.
You then have some great method, for tailoring/enchanting I get 20-40silver per each wool/silk stack buying it cheap. And there’s a lot of people doing the same.
Not really, though I haven’t done those professions. I’ve done engi, alch and cooking which is one profession people tend to sleep on.

Seems like the economy is always intercoursed.
Only solution I can think of is to cap the currency you can carry around with you and tie it to scale to your level so you can’t just create an alt and store 50G on each. 50s per level or something? Max gold cap being 30g.
Would probably only bring in new stupid stuff like demanding that you pay 30g from 5 different characters to get one item in trade instead so I dunno.
We probably need a wipe on gold by phase 2. It would make a lot of people angry but it might be necessary. Not like it matters if they don’t actually start adressing the bot problems and stuff.
I have so far earned 1500 gold total by a legitimate means and I’d rather not have some ask to wipe 3 weeks I have spent making that gold.
I don’t think anyone should have that much gold to begin with so I don’t really care either way as I don’t buy overpriced stuff on the AH or engage with GDKP’s anyway. I just grind for my stuff casually. If it’s wiped, cool in my book. If not, oh well, I’ll live.

Cause regulating markets to prohibit extreme influences, like through bots or absurd mage Aoe mechanics, is kinda basic and common sense for most people.
But hey, I guess you can also support it, solely for the reason to be edgy I guess.

If not the mages, it will be hunters, if not that something else. People will find ways to farm gold the fastest. If you remove all of them getting gold will be insane. People will just resort to buying botted gold more.
It is just a game of META. The best will exist and sadly the only ways to fix your issue is to remove gold or remove a lot of play styles and make the game bland (basically we all just have lvl 2 spells). Then the game will become boring.
I hope Blizzard will nerf mages if it goes out of control.
