The elemental 6% aura nerf double dip

Last tuning pass elemental received a 6% aura nerf with some compensation to mastery to offset the nerf. The next day data pointed out that the nerf accidentally hit pet spells twice, making the actual nerf bigger by a quite margin considering how reliant the farseer tree is on pet damage, making it by far the biggest nerf of the bunch, assuming based on simcraft results while leaving arcane almost untouched. I know there’s another tuning pass coming so it’s not something to fret over, but:

This was not mentioned in the patch notes. The only way to understand “Elemental damage reduced by 6%” is if the damage is, in fact, nerfed by 6%. Not 9, not 11, not some arbitrary number. If this was Blizzard’s intention from the start, make your design philosophy crystal clear. If it was not, fix the game, fix your notes and make a statement asap. Heroic week is already beginning and while the tuning pass will come, some of the raid spots are loosely based on performance during this week.

It feels unfathomable that a historically ignored spec finally gets some light shining on it in the form of reworks, yet a simple mistake is allowed to be on live for a whopping week with no comment.

Make it clear.
