Difficult because we don’t know how many weeks until prepatch. If all your characters are on cloak one, I would say your chances are extremely low.
What you need to do is:
get to cloak 9-10
get elite exterminator
complete a one-mask run to unlock the other masks
complete a one mask run to unlock the remaining masks in the other city one week later
get your cloak to 15
get your character to at least 450-460ish
start attempting 5 mask
the more weeks this expansion lasts, the higher your chances. But I think it’s a bit late now and it will probably not be possible until then - the main limiting factor being your cloak. Leveling the cloak up takes time.
Even if you manage to do a one-mask full clear this week (you would need at least cloak 9-10), it will take you a minimum of 3 weeks to even get the chance as the cities rotate on a weekly basis and you must unlock the masks first.
At this point, I don’t even know if BFA will run much longer than 3 weeks because we are approaching 125 resist cap and gamescom is soon. If we are lucky, we get a prepatch date announcement on gamescom.
You’ll definitely have an easier time on your warrior because of the interrupt, the AOE stun and the higher damage output compared to a healing spec. But people have managed to solo 5 mask on every spec that exists in the game.
Thank you for taking your time with this very much helpful reply.
I see now it is not an easy mission . I will just . Keep farming vessels with dailies . Maybe they will give us max rank cloaks before next expansion hits like they did with Legion weapons. That will surely help.
If I did get it done before prepatch then great. If not it is ok. I will just keep better eye on future content titles .
I do expect that Prot Warr will be better than Disc, but is it better than Survival? 400 to 420 is very quick. Either 420 or 430 to 450 is either slow, waiting for Emissaries (won’t happen in time) or fast, with a few low keys.
Either way, it’s a tough challenge in time.
Rumshot, my STRONG advice is, if you want to do this quicky, READ GUIDES AND WATCH VIDEOS BEFORE YOU START. There are many tips and tricks that make a HUGE difference to your performance. There’s a skip in Orgrimmar to Rexxar that can make the difference between hard and impossible at certain levels. Eating the healing food WILL make the difference between living and dying sometimes. Knowing where and when to eat K’Bab also.
You will also have a huge amount of farming to do between Visions to earn the Vessels you need to enter them.
If I compare my Unholy DK or my BM hunter with my Prot warr = the upside of doing it on prot, is that you can pull much much much bigger at once. Also, if you solo it as a tank, the mobs have less health.
In general, I’d say the most comfortable spec I’ve done it on is Blood DK with lots of twilight dev
Please do not spread misinformation. In order to receive the title “the faceless one”, you need to clear 5 mask while not being in a party - so you have to do it alone.
