The fact 70's are allowed in lower level bgs is a big sign Blizz doesn't care about pvp

Pretty much the title. The fact this hasn’t been fixed and won’t be just shows how much of an afterthought pvp is for the devs.

They could’ve implemented a million fixes for this but they just let it be. The 60-69 bracket is rife with this abuse making games either a snore if they’re on your team, or a nearly unwinnable battle if they’re against you.

I like the concept of queuing up with a lowbie buddy to play together.
But i don’t think more than one lvl70 should be able to partysync in PvP (& the 70 should probably get scaled to the lower / mid side of the bracket).

The idea is good but the execution is bad. You should be scaled much lower than it is now. a 70 in the 60-69 bracket should have 150k hp and stats according to the ilvl to get to that number.

low level bgs have since the dawn of time been about gaining unfair advantages to crush people who are just trying to have fun.

queueing as 70 is just the latest iteration of that. when i last played low lvl bgs it was running old raids to gain absurd stat increases over levelers. last patch it was buying bugged green gear from zaralek cavern. at the start of the expansion it was anyone who had pvp gear from shadowlands S4.

none of this is fun for anyone other than the people who are abusing it.

one of the following must be true:

  1. You’re new to low lvl bgs and so this is the first instance of unfair stuff you’ve encountered. In which case, sorry but this is the way its always been.
  2. You’re a twink who is upset that someone can queue with a 70 and invalidate your sweaty twink character.

If 1, sorry, if 2, adapt to the current sweat.

60-69 is a mess. There are people at 69 who kit themselves out in 350+ timewalking gear, before using the XP-off debuff exploit to massively reduce XP gained in BGs.

They can then play hundreds of games before levelling up, absolutely stomping the enemy team every time.

I came back to the game after a long break and am leveling characters.

I’m aware that leveling brackets have for the longest time been a mess (like in early cata when lvl 78-79 gear was icc+ power level), but the 70s using level sync is so easy to do.

The other methods require a bit more time investment and are thus a bit less prevalent (most of the pvp geared people are seemingly just leveling up, farming raids is a time investment and more twink like).

70s bgs are umbalanced af full of issues… no offense but that has to be prio over lower bracket :confused:
