I mean, yes this is pretty diabolical even by Blizzards standards but it isn’t like they have deleted your characters, replaced them with a level 1 gnome called “NigelFarage” and invited your mother out for a nice seafood dinner and never called her again.
That would be some serious damage.

Understandable, a lot of people are very disappointed. Some took day off, made plans with friends, not hard to imagine this feels like a spit in the face.

This is why you should not hire STUDENT DEVELOPERS. This is not even a FULL GAME. It is a modded server. Terrible, crazy and disappointing.
Well… what ever the issue is, must be quite big. Since the issue has been up for over 3hrs now.
Regardless, its their problem to fix. This is a massive L for most of us who were waiting for p3.
Not that Blizzard cares, especially when its an EU issue.
I watched far too much Anchorman when I was younger, find Nigel Farage oddly hilarious and once deleted all my characters when I tried to quit a decade ago. All of those are regrettable but I feel better for sharing that.
Worst part is, some people are actually being able to play the game, while everyone else is locked outside of it.

People taking days off from work for a launch / update / release by Blizzard haven’t learned anything in the last couple of years.
