The fantasy of demonbolt

I don’t think everyone who plays demonology realizes how cool this ability actually is, so let me put it into words.

We basically have this demoniac talent that gives both demonbolt and demon core procs, so whenever a demon dies, or rather expires, you have a chance to keep it’s core for later use.

And I wouldn’t have noticed the cool part about this if I didn’t play power siphon, power siphon basically allows you to absorb two of your imps and then with demon cores, you’re literally firing the an imp itself at your target

I wonder why this spell’s color isn’t fel green because it’s basically the soul of a demon, it’s been a question in my mind for a very long time, especially because the imps fire fel fire bolts that are green, but their core is shadow and fire, or rather similar to the shadowflame we saw in zaralek caverns 10.1, do you have an explaination for this?

It is basicly Soulfire spell from the olden days. It was a spell with a long cast time but you could get procs of Molten Core that made it instant cast. Around Mists of Pandaria it was a baseline spell for demonology warlocks if I remember correctly.
