Is he dead or what? In the fight he manages to use an escape pod and flies away, a thing that’s pointed out by Gallywix aswell.
However when i deliver the quest “Battle for Dazar’Alor” Nathanos claims that Mekkatorque is dead and Jaina badly injured.
meka aint dead, think he is in an iceblock or something, and regards of Jaina, she doesnt seem to be that injurded, atleast she is walking arround.

He is frozen in his pod and somehow neither healers nor mages can get him out. Nathanos probably thinks him dead, I guess?
I bet we’re gonna ask for help to those mecha-gnomes in Kul Tiras soon enough…

Even if we lost him, it wouldn’t be a loss in any meaningful way. He already did the only thing he was useful for, that is blowing things up, and no longer is of any use to us.
Nathanos’ nose better be growing by the time of the next patch…
As for Mekkatorque he’ll be used as a segway to getting the Mecha-Gnome allied race I suspect.
