The flaming in mytic plus has to stop

I think blizzard will improve the system in season 2 if more people talks about the abusive side. The problem is still blizzards m+ Tuning makes people Flame due to some classes are dreadful tuned and people only take the Best easiest over the top scaling classes.

fix scaleing instead

Is my own opinion.

also add solo shuffle m+

An argument could be made that flaming people in your group and leaving is abusive and gameplay sabotage

No, that’s called inappropriate communication. It has its own category.

Playing with chats disabled, especially with randoms, is intentionally disadvantageous to yourself + your group if you are not on the same wave length as them and have missed important information. Did you seriously need that explaining to you?

Flaming people falls into that sure but leaving is more gameplay sabotage than inappropriate communication. Tbf if the keys going well you dont really need to chat.

And if the key is going well you don’t need to leave. If the key is doomed and not going to achieve your intents and purposes, you shouldn’t have to say. Do you want every single person who leaves a doomed key to be banned?

No but some people definitely deserve bans for it

It is currently Blizzard policy alas. If the whole group (or at least the majority) agrees then yes go and leave. If its only you that wants to abandon the key then as far as Blizzard is concerned its a bannable offense.

It is a bannable offence if you are a REPEAT offender intentionally abandoning keys many times. Big, big difference.

In fact, here is their literal wording: ‘We understand that occasionally, abandoning runs will happen. Players can experience unexpected real life emergencies, internet outages, or the group collectively deciding to quit the run. Today, we suspended players who repeatedly and recklessly disrupted Mythic+ groups’.

Which is still very vague and tells us nothing of the actual boundaries, which means that no matter how many runs it actually takes, it remains a bannable offense.

Yes. Still a bannable offense. Your post I responded to isnt talking about a singular event that remains singular.

To top it off you can break a rule once and still not get banned (which isnt uncommon for Blizzard) and they typically only suspend after repeat offenses in the first place unless its something completely over the line like RMT at which point they will likely suspend you flat out (unless youre a certain guilds co-gm).

Even on the forums the Mods operate like this and quite often don’t suspend you although they could according to the rules (and I will use my own posts over a period that spans more than a decade as the basis of my claim. I got away with stuff that I shouldnt have constantly).

If the mods followed their own rules half the regular forum goers would have been perma’d a long time ago.

For a perma you have to really overstep. I only know of two people getting permad and one got revoked (the latter also not being justified in the first place).

Not necessarily, after a certain amount of suspensions (a ridiculously high amount, granted) they will eventually perma.
Should they? Debatable. But i would like to see some actual numbers about how many it takes. I know several people that have been perma’d and did not grossly overstep, they just racked up too many of them.
This is a process that usually takes years, it would not just happen.

Just gonna put this here before you continue insulting this person further, Alagondar himself has said multiple times on forum to play with groups called “scared of dungeons” who do casual m+ runs with a likeminded groups and has suggested many people in past to join it if they wish to play m+ with chill groups and in general is the last person to “grief” or behave badly in game towards anyone like you accuse.

You should stop insulting him or accusing him of doing anything. Disabling chat is a function blizzard offers players and its use is optional and not counts as griefing, he and anyone else has the right to use it if they wishes, you can contact a gm or ask them yourself for clarification for it if the subject interests you but you can stop insulting him or accusing him of anything, he is playing the game completely legit and not breaking any rules and you have no proof of him doing otherwise, only slandering him and calling him here as a griefer is breaking rules however.

Have it your way then, Im not engaging with you further if you are here only to slander and insult others, which is breaking the rules itself.

I didn’t slander anyone. I explained a point. His viewpoint enables griefing, it’s not a debate. Stop saying words you don’t know the meaning of.

Thats true. But now imagine that you, for whatever reason, leave 2 runs. Suddenly you are not sure anymore because we dont know.

plenty of argumetns can be made.

some poeple can argue that doing 20k dps in S2 of DF in +19 was ok and that i shoudl have carried them

their argument woudl be completly wrong and plain stupid - but hey - argument is an argument

aparently blzizard agrees with those people effectively making you now a hostage of such pugs and if you refuse to carry them - you risk loosing your account due to ban .

i bet you personaly are delighted that you keep people now hostage in keys with yourself  dont doubt it even for a second ;

No I didn’t.

I didn’t say that at all.

I had a feeling that you didn’t read my post, and saw something that triggered you to respond.

Off topic: Do have a warlock called Alithu?
