After all these years, I’m asking myself why Raid Finder is still available in the game?
The main reason for Blizzard, correct me if I’m wrong was that casual players could see the raid content aswell. But I don’t think Raid Finder is serving that purpose well…
Raid Finder is a draught. Wiping on N’zoth because of the mechanics, getting upto 7-8 Determination stacks in order to kill the boss. People who come in that raid with barely any knowledge, more often with zero. Blizzard requires from these players to actually know the tactics related to your Legendary Cloak or the Heart of Azeroth.
People get MC’d and are like what’s going on?
Also a lot of people who don’t give a damn or just AFK’ers.
Is this what Blizzard wanted for casual players to see Raid content?
After all these years, I’m asking myself why players are still whining about why RF is still here… Just let it be? If u dont like it, dont play it and let players who do like it have the option.
No, it is only for the story You even need to have the cloak for being able to do the last 2 bosses.
Ontopic;
No idea whay LFR should be removed when only 1 boss out of 12 bosses is a problem. Also i have killed nzoth ~5 times myself in lfr, and only the first time was a wipefest. But that was in the same week the boss got released, so nobody had seen the fight. it was also great since 95% of everyone stayed for learning.
When people doing it for the first time in their guilds, they usually wipe multiple times till that boss is killed.
That is the same for Normal, Heroic and Mithic difficulty.
Why LFR should be different ?
Because it’s easier ?
So do players in LFR. They are easier to be killed.
Going through a Raid failing on it and walking with empty hands is the Raid experience.
That’s how I experienced it in Vanilla, TBC.
I personally miss the days where there were only two dungeon and raid difficulties.
But then World of Warcraft become for “everyone”, no noob left behind and cookies for the top 0,01%.
You no longer even need to be in a guild, you can gear completely through solo content. I think that’s a damn shame, there is just no emphasis on group play.
Blizzard doesn’t require people to know tactics, other players do. People can learn it. How are you supposed to learn if some people are so impatient and insult everyone that make mistake. Everyone one makes mistakes, for plenty of people mistakes are the best way to learn.
This is huge problem with gaming, especially in wow nowadays. Community expects you to know everything before you even start. There is no sense of exploration, of discovering new things. There is no sense of fighting difficult boss and failing multiple times before you finally learn everything and succeed. Now you have read a guide, go to youtube and watch how it’s done, memorize whole choreography, only then you can play.
Raid Finder can exist in current form, there have to be some mechanics on bosses as long as there aren’t too many so you can learn after few wipes. Others should just chill out and offer help to those that fail instead of calling them retards.
