lmao, you’re funny XD
Combat system ?.. Seriously ?
Black Desert Online has the action hack’n’slash rpg style. Tera also had it done in a relatively different way. Blade and Soul also has arguably better than WoW combat system if you like hack’n’slash rpgs.
Atlantica Online got the tactical rpg covered, again if you like that.
Guild Wars (the first one) had this neat deck-building feature tied to its combat system, which was totally amazing.
etc.
World of warcraft probably has one of the most generic combat systems of all mmorpgs. Which is obviously an achievement shared with all other mmorpgs which also happen to have the exact same kind of combat system.
Like what ? Repetitive content that blizzard forces you to do if you want to stay competitive ?
Unless WoW starts to match the outfit selection and chest size of other MMO’s.
It will never again be my top MMORPG
We need more themes like this, not less.
Stop changing for the worse blizz.
Matter of taste regarding the combat system. I for example like the Combat System WoW has. However i vastly prefer the Combat system Blade and Soul has in some cases as well because its a lot faster. I absolutely despise their pvp combat system outside of arena however
As in general competition there is at least one Game that is most certainly a competition to WoW and has been so for a long while. And yes its starts with the letter F.
Yes. But you will also have people that wont come back. For instance if they introduce yet another system like covenants you can bet on it that a fair chunk of people will refuse to come back given we (we as in the people flaming it since announcement) were absolutely correct about it in every aspect.
From an aesthetics PoV shadowlands is absolutely fine. The zones Revendreth and the fae zones in particular. Bastion as well (however the lack of day night cycle there can give one a headache). The only ones that are a matter of taste are Maldraxxus (which i personally love) and the Maw. The maw however is intended to look bad given what it represents.
Only works so much. I mean i was happy going back to sub as well at the start of this patch but its not really making up for all the other stuff i ranted about in hindsight. I mainly stayed because im not going to abandon my guild after progress has already started (or now to get everyone their mount etc) and raiding is still fun (even if this tier is absolutely horribly designed)
huffs copium
Like complain about no solo queue for rbgs? Or how m+ makes hc raid useless? Or how there is no listings for hc raid in prime time? Or how OP healers are in bg’s? Things like that?
used to think the same once… OP… can u believe that?
you grow up and out of lalaland eventually though.
Another Vinzora thread
I like all 4 zone where covenants reside , maw is boring it’s true and so is korthia .
Out of the four most recent people trying to convince me that the game is at its best ever, three of them no longer play for a few months due to the rl issue of having to play another game. Last one switched to horde because alliance isnt active enough for him.
Im not ready to no-life the game but I did spend considerable part of my life in it, over the years, so I would expect the ppl praising its current state to be at least remotely close in their time spent actually playing it and not be just back to wow after 1 year break where a lot of new stuff seem novel.
I suppose people can import posts from opposite land if they want to.
Nothing wrong if you like the Shadowlands expansion, each to their own. There are part’s that I’m fine with but others that don’t leave me with much faith in Blizzard’s direction but I’m giving them a chance even if I am one of those complaining at the same time.
There are indeed so many things to do, however they would have been received better if they weren’t mandatory in order to be competitive in Arena/M+/Raids etc.
It does if quitting causes for guilds to collapse due to lack of players or causes people to do things like switch to Horde (if alliance) to find people to play with.
I actually like WoW’s combat system too when it comes to our playable characters, it feels smoother than many other MMORPGs to me. They need to implement better warning systems (which other games do better) for mobs and bosses though so that we aren’t overly reliant on addons.
I don’t mind the main 4 covenant zones especially with flying enabled to be honest, The Maw could have been far better though.
Actually in the process of this myself, levelling a new shaman that may become the class I main depending on how I feel about it. I’ve never really had a main and I bounce between characters so often I just end up not achieving anything in game.
I think its great finding some joy out of trying something new in the game though.
Are we playing the same game? There’s not many things to do, unless you repeat the grinds on your alts and it’s just mind numbingly boring to redo the same things you’ve already done just to be able to play the game.
No, not by a longshot. The game is definitely in worse state than during Legion and even BFA. And by the way it does matter what content actually gives you player power and gold at max level, and unfortunately that’s the current expansion, and mostly just the current patch. Which sucks right now.
Also content is getting removed and/or butchered, so the game is objectively better before 9.1.5 than after.
Blizzard needs to lose the philosophy that major content patches must mean a new raid. They can move the narrative forward with casual content as a major patch.
So yesterday the OP makes a post saying game is very bad and today he makes a post saying the game is very good this is why we should have battletag related forum avatars .
Detective Daestra is on the case!
