The game is too hard

Hi,
First of all I wanted to bring up that I feel the current season is too hard when it comes to getting higher item levels and unlocking the gear visuals that I would like to have.
A lot of the items and appearances that I want are locked behind Heroic and Mythic raids, which are not accessible for me.

In my case, I have a paralyzed right hand and blurred vision in my left eye, so doing higher-end content such as Mythic raids or dungeons is not really possible. Because of that, I feel like I’m completely locked out from progressing in terms of gear or collecting the visuals I like, even though I am a paying customer and play regularly.

It would be nice if there were new mechanics or accessibility systems that made it possible for players like me to reach similar goals. The one button rotation system is great. But the mechanics in mythic+ and raids are still the same. I believe there should be a system, like the one button system - where your character automatically moves to a safe location when you press one of your movement buttons, like… it could predict where eventual AOE spells would land so it avoids it automatically. There could also be alternative content, solo challenges, or scaling rewards. Right now it feels like there is no fair or equal field for people with disabilities or those who cannot participate in the hardest difficulties.

You can literally do delves that give equivalent of +7 mythic keys .

If you are not doing higher level content you dont need mythic raids or heroic raids gear :woman_shrugging:

I don’t know… on one hand I do understand the issue and frustartion of impaired and/or bad players but on the other hand… why not just remove diffcult content and let us buy all gear from vendors with gold, while we’re at it?

You can’t just have absolutely everything accessible for absolutely everybody without stripping the fun out of it for a lot of people.

What are you trying to say here?

That he has 2 working hands.

If you want me to paraphrase my previous statement:

I get the frustration that less skilled or impaired players might feel, but if we make everything easy, we might as well remove challenging content altogether and just let people buy all the best gear from vendors with gold. If absolutely everything is accessible to everyone without effort, it takes away the sense of achievement and fun for many players.

If you hint towards the fact that I used a saying that included the word “hand” then nothing. It’s just a saying and has nothing to do with your paralyzed hand. Don’t overthink it.

Or you can have cosmetics detached from the more challenging content, and reward those people with Feats of Strength, Titles, Achievements, while the rest can collect cosmetics on their own speed and leasure.

I could agree with that but I doubt that’s enough incentive for most players.
Feasts, Titles and Achievements are really… very underwhelming as a reward.

Wait… werent you the one who made a thread couple months ago on how you need to be tank?

He’s also the same person who advocated for the ?? delve encounters because

he defeated Zekvir after 8 tries

Last time you have said how exceptional you are and that you are carrying others.

Im disabled and just live with the fact i cant raid/group too well and just enjoy the aspects of the game I can still do compently. I would not burden myself on anyone whos playing the game their way. Raiding is for Raiders, Hardcore stuff is for the Hardcore players. Just accept your not one of those and enjoy the aspects you can.

Idk, I was just today saying to friend how easy pvp is that I got my feet resting on table and drinking coffee while chatting with them and playing my mm in blitz by pressing 3 buttons on it and we won wsg 3-0, and its 2050 rating 2300 mmr. And you gear by either doing random bg or brawl or something for honor and buy 717 ilvl honor set and then start doing rated blitz and talk to an vendor near the honor gear vendor and buy 730 ilvl gear from him. This is literally rated end game, if some find raiding or m+ too hard then come pvp, it couldnt be any more easier to play the game with blitz currently, its easy as hell, all you need to do is just show up and play.

So there should be zero tangible reward for doing any non trivial content?

No power increases, no titles, no mog, no mounts, nothing?

You can already get 99% of everything the game offers without ever doing challenging content.

You literally quoted me stating to reward titles, achievements etc instead of cosmetic looks…

I think Blizzard could make World of Warcraft more balanced and inclusive for everyone — especially for players with disabilities or those who can’t commit to hardcore content — while still keeping the game challenging and rewarding for all skill levels.

For example, Mythic+ could be adjusted so that a +5 feels like today’s +10, offering a stronger sense of achievement without needing to push extreme keys. The rewards could include choice-based items like reputation tokens from any expansion, unique trinkets or gear sets with fun effects not tied to raids, and exclusive cosmetics, mounts, or titles that celebrate progression in a way that’s still meaningful.

Blizzard could also expand Delves or add a similar solo and small-group system that rewards effort over difficulty. For example, completing a weekly tier of Delves could grant:

  • Customizable gear tokens that can be upgraded with time and dedication.
  • Unique profession materials or crafting patterns that casual players can use or trade.
  • Meaningful story-driven rewards, like class-specific quests, transmog sets, or cosmetic spell effects.
  • “Legacy Vault” tokens to unlock items, mounts, or reputations from past expansions, giving players more reasons to explore older content.

This kind of reward structure would make gameplay more fulfilling for solo, casual, and disabled players while keeping the sense of progression that WoW is built around.

In short, challenge and accessibility can absolutely coexist — Blizzard just needs to make sure rewards reflect effort, creativity, and dedication, not just raw difficulty.

This is literally just crafting in it’s current state. Delvers can already get to within 5 ilvls on average of full mythic BIS. Less than half of the difference between a difficulty tier.

How is that not enough power progression?

You can just wait and get the mogs later and solo stuff in one or two expansions from now
