Junkyard Tinkerer is an achievement on Mechagon Isle that requires your character (not account) to tinker 1000 items in total. So far prior patch 8.2.5 this was done creating 5 Canned Minnows costing 25 scrap and 3 Ionized Minnow. The minnows are easily gotten from the vaccum-cleaner from the fishing NPC, the real gating on this achievement was a total of 100 SPARE crates (25x1000).
According to this wowhead post ( https://www.wowhead.com/news=295145/patch-8-2-5-content-update-patch-notes ) having Blizzards notes concerning patch 8.2.5 it says:
“The prices for consumables crafted from Pascal-K1N6 have been reduced.”
Great right since Canned Minnows is a consumable? It is a painful grind/gate the achievement, so reduced cost is most welcome. So like a naive boy, I believed Blizzard and held off my crafting materials for the patch.
Logging in on patch day today, the cost is now 50 scrap and 6 ionized minnow for 10 consumables. Basically they doubled the cost, which now makes the achievement cost a whopping 200 SPARE crates instead of the previous 100 SPARE crates which was insane to begin with.
So much for believing patch notes and believing Blizzards. Not only is it a lie, they double up in opposite direction.
