I was very happy that the guild banks have finally found their way to TBC. But why is the gold cap set so low? 214k is far too little. I still need 6 chars to store my gold,
When the guild banks were introduced back in 2007, there was no limit. It was only much later that the gold limit was capped at 1 million gold - initially it was unlimited.
The gold limit was removed in Wrath or Cata. Before that it was 214k.

Because of the way the data is stored.
Source?
I had 4 million gold back then on my guildbank. Then came the patch where only 1 million could be deposited in the guild bank.
You had 4 million gold in TBC and I had a Bugatti Veyron when I was 11 years old.

Loser. Imagine being that poor. I owned 2 space rockets at age of 5. Mom took them away for my borther later on tho
The right question is why are the logs so small? Just 30 entries for tab and then they are gone. Also the goldcap in GB was well above 214k in TBC because it’s server side and not client side. It should be about 5 billion ( or whatever 64bit unsigned int is in copper)
But the logs are just stupidly short.
Are you saing that character gold is stored client side, and not server side? Seems plausible…

This must be the WoW equivalent of complaining that they don’t make condoms big enough for you
For the internet muscle pee pees, no condom is big enough
tbh when you’re in the triple digits it is really hard to find ones that fit properly
Oh ma gawdddd you so rich please let me suck you

So if this is true, why would you need all of that gold?
Somebody perhaps selling in-game currency for some paypal?
