The Hallowfall Crystal (just a theory)

I think it’s an egg maybe containing azeroth herself. With light and the void fighting over her. We know sargeras created the Legion to fight the void, we know world souls can be corrupted (Argus),he was corrupted by good old Mr Saggy and his Burning Legion, What if this crystal houses azeroth herself, we all know a world sould dwells within a planet, we’ve seen them miraculously appear but we haven’t seen them pop out from the planet. World souls (if my lore memory serves) are energy that go out in to the great dark beyond they find a sun and a planet builds around them. What if the world soul forms an egg or crysilis and they stay in there until awakened.

That would explain the light and void colour change also how the corruption could be done. If Saggybum found Argus in an Egg and poured all the legions corruption in to it then cracked it open then boom Argus. The same could be happening to Azeroth.

An egg eh? my impression is that it’s the other end of the sword sargeras stuck into silithus.

Sword struck recently, not enough time for ecosystem to form.

Also it’s the wrong area for it to be the sword

Eh it looks exactly like the bottom of a sword though
Im sure we will see soon enough!

Then you would see Gorribal hitting it. Sargeras caused direct damage to Azeroth when he slammed his Sword into the Planet. She bled Azerite as a result as well as some other stuff you hear in the last zone.

Then it still wouldn’t be Gorribal as we’ve drained it of its magic at the end of legion. And it sure as beep wouldnt shine in light considering who wield it. And as pointed out the strike was too recent to cause this level of ecosystem (not to mention the Arathi being present there for god knows how long)

It’s called “Beledar”, same manner as Xenedar/Exodar draenei space ships.
Probably just a Naaru vessel

It’s a really big sword reaching up into space :smirk: Had the “crystal” not been located in that exact north western position my opinion would have been different.
Distances across continents have varied over the years as the worldmap has been updated, i’m sure khaz algar could theoretically be closer to tanaris than it appears to be.

It can’t be the sword because the Day of Darkness (Sargeras’ sword striking Azeroth) is what made the crystal turn dark in the first place. It’s been there for decades already.

We don’t need to be arguing about the sword theory. Blizzard confirmed it’s not the sword a long time ago.

“While we don’t yet know what the crystal is, we do know what it is not. During Wowhead’s Blizzcon 2023 interview with Anne Stickney and Tina Wang, it was made clear that the crystal is not the Sword of Sargeras.”

  • Tina Wang: Something that I’ve seen online is that some people think the crystal and the crystalline ceiling is the sword - and it’s not. I just want to clarify that.

It looks like a giant puttblug from the inside /jk

It made me wonder as well. My partner mentioned a conversation between Alleria and Whatsupwithyourmodel-duin and they were hinting at the sword. Which brings up the question: where the hell are we? (I dont read quests. Usually wait for Nobbel to post a video about lore) We could be south or south-west of the sword but then the cardinal directions would make no sense.

Ecosystem could have been formed ages ago like the Nerubian empire or something. Also, dont forget that life magic can create life in a matter of seconds. So it very much could be the tip of the sword.

She’s got a point.

Conclusion: It might as well be just a massive puttblug.

Its just a kidney stone, azeroth isnt healthy. Remember that
