Okay one question bothers me do I need to grp up for that puzzle or I can do it solo?
You need a group for the last parts of it.
That’s the reason I won’t be getting it. I don’t like to have to rely on others.
And besides, the mount is ugly and I probably would never use it anyway (much like the other puzzle mounts, but those I DID get because it was up to ME to get them).

That’s kinda annoying.
People tend to be very impatient (or even aggressive) when someone makes a mistake and this is just the kind of thing that will trigger that.

That was my thoughts at first doing it this afternoon, 3 people giving different direction for the disc puzzle.
We ended up using the ingame voice and oddly it got alot more relaxed then, people didn’t talk over each other, took turns when one persons thing didn’t work next one tried. Think it took us an hour or 2 to get the mount (started at the suramar cat toy bit.

I’m highly suspicious of these finding “secrets” groups. Especially who, exactly, is in the groups.
Some of it seems highly implausible they’d just miraculously come across some of these items and then BAM, link them all together, even with the hints provided by the puzzle as they continue to solve certain parts of it.
I like the idea of it, doesn’t seem realistic if you look at them puzzles.
Always looks like they’re getting help from somewhere, but who knows 
If you have enough people trying multiple ideas. When you do a step presumably it completes a hidden quest and you can track that using the addon API.

Ah yes, well this would explain a lot if it works that way.
I had not taken that into account, really.
I’ve just collected the monocles. We have a guild group going tonight. I’ve seen so many selling ads for the mount or even the yellow monocle as you can enter a dungeon someone else has completed the puzzle in and loot the chest.
You do not need a group to get one of the four monocles, but as soon you get one, you will need a full group to finish the puzzle.
Edit: To make your life easier, you only need one monocle not all. If you are going to pug it, then its good to have all will be easier to find a group, but if you have friends/guild ready, then just one is fine.
Seen so many people with the mount already, its quite common now and in my opinion quite an eyesore. I’ll still get it though as I want to do the puzzles however i’ll still use my pureheart courser.

No they dont, infact every secret group I’ve been with has been very pleasant to be with. Its one of the nicest thing I’ve done with players in a long time, and we even used discord to discuss what we were doing.
Im very negative to wow these days, but this is the best experience I’ve had for very long.

This has been my favourite mount to get so far out of all the secret mounts because it isn’t a solo experience now. The maze for the Nightmare was the most mind-numbingly frustrating experience simply because it was so randomised, and there was nobody who could help you navigate it, because it was solo.
But this time around the puzzles have been designed around a group of 5, and its so much more enjoyable. The jumping puzzle was, unfortunately, a bit of a let down because it’s the same every time, and you can just follow the instructions, but the final puzzle was absolutely great.
Figuring it out and the satisfaction of completing, along with the excitement from the other players I was doing it with, was far more rewarding than the actual mount itself.

I had a huge amount of fun getting this with my guildies. I do know what you mean, they are everywhere. It does have the unique ability to carry a party of people.
It’s not the monocles, that’s troubling, not even a yellow one, but a bunch of p.ricks s.hitting in the room with a lost cat toy.
A perfect spot for a 24 hours banhammer for everyone in.

Was an awesome puzzle chain to do. I am amazed over that all these sadistic steps got solved so fast.
They were datamined, not solved.
Normal people have common sense & aren`t mentioning such things.
Well, at least I hope they do.
You can only datamine items not server actions.
