So… he is in line with the other cartoonish WoW villains.
Well in terms of rumours it appears that he isnt the evil guy per say but rather got screwed over by the rest of the shadowlands. It will probably result in us understanding why he does what he does but still having to put him down.
You mean he slowly turns in his chair while stroking his cat? I’ve come to the conclusion that people will never be happy. They could release a boss with 25 arms and 70 legs, and the community would let out a sigh complaining that it didn’t have enough limbs.
Yes i agree 100% with you here, There’s a reason for Sylvanas joining him without being forced to.
This is what i think of Zovaal, maybe its just my look at things, maybe it’s not, Maybe it’ll happen later in Shadowlands or maybe it wont.
The First ones created Shadowlands and the Eternal Ones.
And i think Zovaal found out the Truth about the First ones.
Maybe he found out as we’re pawns of the First ones we can truly never be free.
What if Zovaal found out what the First Ones are up to, aswell as managed to find out a way to exploit them.
Remember, Zovaal is way older than Reality itself, so he have a Long A time to think about stuff aswell as Plan stuff out.
The Eternal rest of the Eternal ones (Leaders of the Shadowlands)
Found out about Zovaal’s plans on taking down the First ones, they sees Zovaal’s plans as the ultimate Betrayal, this he gets thrown down into the Maw.
The Black orb which the Arbiter has may be a " Key " Part of the plan to break the First ones - Zovaal’s true strenght.
We know Zovaal is going to be the last boss of Shadowlands, as its been confirmed during Blizzcon i believe?.
So we will have to join the rest Eternal ones in stopping Zovaal once again.
And if this theory about Zovaal is true, then does it suck that we don’t get to choose to join him.
Can we truly be " Free " with the First ones around?.
Remember what Sylvanas said in the Cinematic.
This world is a Prison… and I Will set us all FREE
I do not believe these statements anymore. Remember when they said Grom would be the final boss of WoD? Ye, they scrapped that mid expansion (thank god). So i dont believe it until i see it.
It could also be that we fight Zovaal in the second to last tier while facing the Eternal Ones in the latest tier as in “ye Zovaal had to be put down but you know…that doesnt make you lot any less innocent. And we’ve heard you lot drop epics sooooooooo”
All of this.
Plus, why do they call themselves ‘Loyalists’? By definition the correct word is ‘Traitors’? I mean she betrayed the Horde, they follow her, ergo they are -Traitors-. The Loyalists stayed…uhh, Loyal, to the Horde.
Sylvanas has committed that most grave of cardinal sins that a bad guy can commit.
She has become -boring-.
Evil is good when it is entertaining, when it is just -eeeeevul- for the sake of it, especially when stupidly overpowered, it just becomes tedious. And that is what Sylvanas is, Tedious, overused, and nonsensical.
This Jailer is raw!
Which is a shame! I thought she was a really well put together character before she became the unbeatable queen of the world whose plans always work who plays 6D chess with everyone.
I wish this would be the case, but Zovaal will most likely be free from the Maw.
He will most likely take back what’s his from the Broken Machine of Death (Arbiter)
And with the skies broken leaving an Entrance in the sky and with Zovaal having his full powers back and maybe becoming this " Titan-esk " looking being from the early stage of Zovaal.
So may he be able to leave the Shadowlands.
And im sure that we have a Gigantic sword waiting for him on Azeroth ?
(Since he is Titan ++ means that he easily could defeat our Titans.)
so i’m curious about who’s going to borrow us the power to defeat him… The First ones maybe?
If he is capable of changing his size at will just like the titans. However the power of the sword has been drained, so its just a gigantic piece of stone/metal at this point.
My bet is on Azeroth. Would also explain why we can use the artifacts in the maw which not even Zovaal can use.
Not only boring but she went from well written tactical schemer to a moustache twirling gringy onliner thrower who at this point is just a dark version of Jaina “plot hole” Proudmoore.
Every time she is in danger just like Jaina she just uses her plot armor and turns into a smoke and flies off like some kind of Saturday morning cartoon villain.
It’s Powers were drained in Legion aye.
But Zovaal could inject it with complete Death Magic.
She may be the strongest Titan of our titans, but the question is…
Will it be enough for a enemy that’s Titan++?
I guess we have to see in the end of the Xpac!.
I mean the First ones was most likely the creator of the Titans.
So the relic of the First ones reacting to us the players isn’t that suprising.
This too means that the First ones created Azeroth.
If he is capable of that then he could just take any weapon of his choosing tbh. Including one forged by the Nathrezim like another Frostmourne. Or a weapon forged out of the blood of an old god like Shadowmourne.
Well its said that should she awaken that shes capable of playing punching ball with even the void lords and it appears the Nathrezim are still afraid like mad in regards of them and are very glad that the void is busy with their thousand truths as to not interfere with them.
Question is tho why would a relic of the first ones react to us while it does to nobody else even if they are from Azeroth and alive or to anyone that is dead and residing in the shadowlands. I mean we are (probably thanks to azeroth) already beings that are not bound by fate (as stated by the void during the brawler campaign) and also defacto immortal as pointed out by a couple npcs and assumed by others (Illidan being aware and confirming it at least for the DH. Eonar suspecting it because of the Argus encounter and Arthas most certainly aware because he stops us from releasing mid encounter even tho that was possible back then etc)
Glad it is not just me who thinks that then. Both of them need getting rid of, they have become parodies of -themselves- and that isn’t supposed to even be possible!
The entire shadowlands lore is generic. Whatever happened to the story team.
Warcrafts story has always been generic
We don’t know that yet. Because no one knows that yet. I always get mistrustful when people talk about the lore of an expansion that hasn’t even been released yet.
Lorecrafting is fun tho. Especially with the information provided.
Indeed, and i guess we’ll find out in Shadowlands!.
Where was this said?, like legit xD i’ve read all the Lore-related books but can’t remember reading this.
Yeah it is strange, my first though was… The heart of Azeroth?.
But then i reminded myself that not everyone who goes to the shadowlands have a Heart of Azeroth
(If you lvl from Legion’s timeline to 50 and jumps into Shadowlands.)
So i don’t think its because of the Heart of Azeroth that it reacts to.
Could it be that we recieved a Blessing from the First ones? which we aren’t aware of?.
For protecting Azeroth ? all of these years?.
Because it does not react to Jaina or Thrall, but to US.
I do hope we get to know why the Relics of the first ones reacts to us in the first place.
Pöööh, would have to do research. I just have had it in the back of my head. Might be that its assumed in the end.
You are forced through BFA as a new player. Everyone will have the heart of azeroth. I assume returning players will be forced through BFA as well.
Maybe.
