The Jailor

So Pyro really seems to have a few picks from “The Jailor”. I don’t know if he wont similarities to Calia this time, I don’t watch his videos, but check out his revealed pics:

I was hoping Jailor would look more creepy / Manacing?

He looks like that elderly man from the Summit from 12 tasks of Asterix

Serious talk. He looks like some sort of Cronus from the mythologies. Or even Uranos. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was the husband of the Arbiter at some point.

Hmmm, looks a bit tame for my tastes. On one hand I guess it’s somehow creative of Blizzard art team to not make him look like a Skeletor from He-Man. Than on the other him looking like yet another Titan doesn’t strikes me as “super cool” either.
Well maybe at least due to his somehow “calm” appearance he will be capable of polite conversation with player’s characters instead being all “Bow before me mortals bla bla” like most villains in WoW tend to be. Who knows, he might even be sensible!

I was pretty surprised to be honest. I thought he would look more dead, like he was decaying With bones showing. He looks a little bit like Amanthul haha

I like his appearance. In a game called Warcraft, people often associate deaths by being murdered in some way. The Jailer seems as if he’s just withering away, giving in to the ravages of time. I also thought his shadowed form, especially his visible crown and hair, reminded me of someone. It reminded me of King Leoric from Diablo 3. I am glad that the Jailer isn’t a generic skeleton either.

The plushy white beard doesn’t seem that stereotypically villain-y…

But were the Humans created already back then? Because he looks like a human. . .

Many things look like humans. The titans, the titan keepers, the vrykul, Elune.

Pretty sure he looks different. The picture features him with a beard but the in-game trailer there was no beard ( or a shadow of it ) as if he doesn’t have one.

Those pictures are from 2018. At least a year old. Also it’s just a concept art. It might have been changed since then or while translating it to a 3D model.

On the bright side, if they take story directions from Darksiders, that sparks optimism for Shadowlands IMO.

To be honest. Shadowlands as xpac fits more in Darksiders franchise than as it does in warcraft. Maldraxxus looks like the realm of the dead from darksiders 2
