Well said! Whilst we are all VERY grateful for what we’ve been given so far, it is no lie that at this moment in time we are lacking in customization options compared to our fellow Legion ARs such as Nightborne, Highmountain tauren and Lightforged draenei. While they’ve been given hairstyles, tattoos, new faces, beard options and jewellery, we have been given nothing of that aside from hair colours and a tentacle toggle.
It is fair to say that now it’s the turn of the void themed customization in the form of voidy markings/tattoos, new hairstyles along with a tentacle toggle from the beginning, N’Zoth eye colours (see Silverleaf’s eye concepts), new faces, beard options, jewellery and goth makeup!

Pretty much, with the non-tentacle option not being odd.
Looks at the void elf ponytail feeling half chopped off
Even getting the belf hairstyles is a good step but it’s better for the HE part.
Black lipstick is love 
for jewelry, armbands, necklaces, and especially piercings are welcome, velf is that race that’s fitting for a goth.
Some arm tattoos as well, facial ones are mostly for rangers (haven’t seen any other class in the elf society using them).
Even deformations in the body, as if you were heavily corrupted, based on the minions we saw in 8.3, so something like a half-tentacle arm.
No idea about the art here, but aren’t the N’zoth eyes a bit too big?

I absolutely adore it.
From the top row I particularly like the 2nd from the right, and the 2nd from the left.
From the bottom row I love the middle one with the shiny tendrils, the last and the 2nd from the right!
I am SOOO incredibly hyped for the upcoming Void Elf customizations I cannot begin to express my excitement!! Hopefully we’ll see another class or two for Void elves be made available as well such as Dark shaman, or Void knight skin for paladin, or Void-infused druid. Any of them would be super neat! xx

I think perhaps those still waiting for their customisations might be a bit miffed.
Probably because 6 of them aren’t actually for Void Elves… One of them is even wearing Nightborne armour for heavens sake! 3 of them have tattoos/warpaint that belong to -Thalassian- elves, so please take your ticket and get in the queue behind those still waiting for their promised customisation -after- the two that Void Elves have received. People -do- play other races you know?

That isn’t what a Dark Shaman is, and makes no sense for a bunch of Thalassian outcasts.
What’s the point of that? Why give a skin for a race/class combo that you cannot make? Sounds like a waste of time?

I mean it is pretty artwork, but none of it actually makes any sense, and nor do we have any evidence that Void Elves are getting a Third set of customisation, when some are still waiting for their First or Second.

Void elves are Thalassian elves. 
Void elves can be like Alleria, they need ranger tattoos.

I am sure both Void elves and Blood elves will get more customizations soon. Blood elf fans have more than ensured that this is heard with their requests on both the forums and on twitter, which I check daily. And I’m sure other races will get smaller or larger updates soon as well, depending on player demand ofc 
Totally unfair to call it a 3rd set of customization tbh, but suit yourself I guess. We got skin colours, eye colours and hair colours. Yep. That’s right. It’s all been limited to JUST colour!! Because Blizzard could not do it right the first time by giving people High elves, they just had to give us literal smurf elves instead. So now that they fixed that mess, I think it’s reasonable for us to expect some customization that is not just colours?
Oh I don’t know, maybe some hairstyles? If I’m not mistaken you my blood elf friend have 22 hairstyles to choose from while your alternative Void elf has 11? 
I am sure the additional customizations will benefit both VEs and BEs greatly.

I don’t consider ear length, Blood Elf skin & hair colors as new original customization that’s supposed to be exciting. You can let us enjoy this kind of stuff, you know?
Really? Name them. Which ones bother you exactly? I know the High Elf ranger is definitely one of them, but I’m curious. Pink haired lady? Pink could be a new “voidy” unusual color such as existing purple one.
Another thing that really bothers you? “for heavens sake!” lol… I just thought how the colors of that armor look nicely on a void elf with that skin & hair color. But I guess it’s just another thing that makes you be awake at night.
Void Elves are also Thalassian elves. They can speak Thalassian language. You should check it out. We can cross-faction talk to our Thalassian cousins, the Blood Elves. It’s fun. And I have never implied that the tattoos should be Void Elf only. It would be super dope if both of these 2 Thalassian races get them. After all, Void Elves are Thalassian as well.
Can you do me a favor and find a confirmation where they promised that Blood Elves are getting these tattoos/warpaints exactly?
I am all for customizations for all races. I don’t want it to ever stop. It would be amazing if they could just hire 1 person who would just focus on that. KeyboardTurner on Twitter does a really fantastic job with her concepts. This is a Void Elf thread where Blizzard has replied, so I just wanted us to continue discussing the possible customizations that might be coming in 9.2.5 if that patch even exists. And we’re kinda hoping the Void Elves, alongside M Orcs & DI Dwarves are next in line, as much as I would like them to make them for the rest of the ARs, too, but I’m afraid they’ll leave it for 10.0 or beyond even.
People like to hope and enjoy positive discussions.
Why? The Devs recently (in some 9.2 interviews) answered a question about possible new class/race combos. Apparently, they’re talking about that a lot these days.
We want original new “Voidy” customizations, not copy-pastes.
Gosh I understand you know. Quoting every single short or long sentence does indeed make me feel a bit “too smart”. You can let people enjoy positively discussing stuff, you know? Nobody is forcing anything. We’re just having fun.

Is this the part where you think you speak on behalf of Blizzard? None of them is for Void Elves unless Blizzard decides to add them for the Void Elves, and the final decision always comes down to Blizzard, not you, not me, not anyone on the forums.
People have every right to post there concepts or ideas here, without people such as yourself telling them that some things are not for something they like.

The idea of tattoos for Thalassian elves have always been there since warcraft 2. A bit odd how they dont have it. It seems like Blizzard forgot tattoos were a thing for high elf rangers in wacraft 2, perhaps they assumed it was just a “Alleria” thing. Who knows.
Likewise Blue skin (like Azshara) for Night elves and nightborne. There are so many customizations that just “make sense” that never got added for some reason, this is the case with many other races too. like long beards for humans, and etc.
if tattoos were to be added, this is how i would do it.
Void elves:
- Blue (represnting their Alliance relations, and old flag color when they allied with the alliance in warcraft 2)
- Purple (representing the Void they embraced)
- Black (representing Darkness/ The void)
Blood elves:
- Red (representing the horde, and their new flag color)
- Green (representing the fel that they used to power thier city, and their eye color)
- Yellow (representing the sunwell and the light)
Personally, i would never use the tattoos myself. But i know many people wanted them, including Brigante. RIP.

Wouldn’t white, white/light gray tattoos work for void elves too?
Although I wish the void elves looked more like Sylvanas is now. Her armor likeness as heritage armor. bow an quiver with unicorn mount that is blue/white color (with armor coloring and design like Sylvanas). well similar to the blue sapphire skyblazer mount coloring with glowing blue eyes. Also like to see their void powers to be more blue/black than purple/black or atleast have the option to switch. Because void powers have both colors.

As Sylvanas looks now is how I would Envision how void elves should look like, and their void form would be more like Alleria windrunners void form were the tattoos glows when being in voidform and the eyes glows even more.

As I said I million times if Blizzard wants void elves to be the future of the Alliance High elves then “Finish” the void elves as a race then. As it is now its just half/half finished (Since they just a last minute decision, why they feel so weird in the wow and don’t really belong in the world of wow). They basically got no lore, Their so called home is an empty space rock in space they don’t even control. They got no buildings so start looking like a home. Then they got High elves still in Alliance that have not joined the void elves so what are blizzard doing with them? Those High elves in Telogrus rift are just stragglers that don’t belong to any big groups and don’t have anywhere else to go. Some who only went there because of their old hero Alleria had returned.
Like what about the 7th legion High elves or Silver covenant High elves or the ones in Alleria stronghold etc? Shouldn’t they have gone there aswell? Like wouldn’t Vereesa want to be with her sister after been gone for so many years. Or have Blizzard other plans for them or just forget they even existed? Yes I always wanted high elves as playable race, but if we can see a story and be part of it that all the alliance high elves “Choose” the power of the void to move forward and see all the leaders of the Alliance “Choose” to become void elves under the leadership of Alleria or Sylvanas (If she will join the Alliance later on or what they planning to do with her) Where all the Windrunner sisters are part of the Alliance and we get more “Named” Void elf NPC so they actually become a race instead of being a half/half race also they should stay as a “Elf” and not an abomination becuase that would be waste of this race and would ruin the race since the entire idea of void elves is that they are just elves playing with void powers and to be slightly different from blood elves but so far they just blood elves with void powers with same culture and believes. But if Locus-walker could help them further in moving towards a new culture, languages and believes. But we also don’t know what his motives are on why he is helping the void elves. If its out of goodness of his heart or he has other plans for void elves. He might be building his own private void army to fight against his own kind.
If we had a dye system so we could “Color” the armor and weapons so weapons and armor would match the character better. I mean I would like to color Thas’dorah bow to either silver covenant colors or the color that Sylvanas have on her armor. as well as my armor (Matching hood). Then number 2 skin would work for my void elf hunter, the one that is white/blue. Although I wish it didn’t have the purple around the eyes on the skin. Ruins the blue eye color glow.
Also that glowing eyes should return to the races that had that before.
I hope…I really hope the next expansion to be better, Shadowlands have only been disappointing. I have really lost the glow/fire of playing wow. It feels like a pain logging in playing. I can’t even play the alts. I have completely lost the glow/fire for this game because of Shadowlands…

Hmm If they also had robe version and a hood.
And Thas’dorah, Legacy of the Windrunners had same colors would be great. And the mount same colors and the void hawkstrider being blue/Black. Perhaps a Unicorn mount looking similar to Sapphire Skyblazer. Detach the void wings from the chest. Make a different chest piece that is more armor than a collar as an option.
