The last fun part of WoW has been ruined

As pointless as the initial topic of discussion here, really.

I am going bite this bait, and say that I take my time to be an absolute nobody just on the internet.

I’ll wish you well though. There’s a chance you will read this so might as well wish you good fortune on your way forward.

This is why there is and never will be any simpathy for twinks, all that blabber about community but in reality all you want is to take advantage of people who just want to have a good time going through the natural progression of the game, because you lack the skill to do it agaisnt people who know what they’re doing.

it’s a lack of skill to farm GEAR in a RPG to easily melt a character who is 5hours fresh in the game and mine 70 days old ? it’s RPG dude but i can see that the word RPG is getting busted out by fast food games as BFA is today, you should calculate it

Eh, I’ll bite.

The “natural progression” was removed with heirlooms, so that’s a joke. Half of your gear now is heirlooms, and most people enchant their heirlooms; those who don’t are actually kind of dumb.

And also, people who lack skill at max level also lack skill at low level. A bad lvl120 would be just as bad on a twink.

You think twinks are automatically 3 times stronger than everybody else and win based off of that? Not the case at all. The only times twinks are absurdly more powerful than somebody with enchanted heirlooms is at lvl110 (you can thank the new-expansion powerspike on gear for that).

Twinks at 49 and 59 used to also be stupidly strong, however the things making them incredibly strong (proc items and on-use items that were overtuned) were nerfed. That chance on hit for 950 Sul’thraze damage? Down to 200 damage.

1.5k on-use Ramstein’s? Nope, 700 now.

Chance on hit 800+ lifesteal? Nope, 200 now.
__

Know what the biggest joke of your comment is though? Saying people that stomp ungeared people at low levels are bad, but the real gear disparity comes at 120. A levelling alt has a MUCH better chance of killing a twink, even a good one, than a fresh 120 has of killing a decent geared 120. And that’s just a decent geared one.

A BiS geared 120 vs a fresh? Yeah, right.

Your implication being that people levelling through BG’s are clueless about PvP but those people at 120 are somehow good at PvP. Those levellers at 120 are still going to be wrecked in BG’s on a fresh 120 against the i400 plus PvE geared players.

Don’t be ridiculous.

Are you even qualified to comment on the state of PvP?

Honor level 9 and 490 HK’s ……… It would be like me commenting on the state of end game raiding.

I like how you left out “i just don’t understand the gearing system” lol, but it’s ok, i understand you’re salty about blizzard taking away you’re pub stomping.

I might not know alot about wow pvp, but i’ve been gaming for a while now and twinking isnt native to WoW. Every game with a ranking system usually has a bunch frustrated players who can’t make in the higher tiers of the content and so resort to pub stomping lower tiered players.

It would also be like you commenting on the state of PvP, or do you think having 1550 rated as your best achievement something to be proud of? Hilarious.

Rating has not been a thing to brag about since TBC. Keep it up folks, I’ll get some popcorn!

Ofc you have read all my posts on the change to the Twink queues, you know by speaking to me directly that I’m salty about not being able to join regular BGs on my twinks?

No I didn’t think so.

If you care to know I’m not salty at all about the change, what I am salty about is miss informed people assuming they know sh1t when they clearly have no clue what they are talking about.

Along with the way the change was ninja’d , they announced the change to the queues 48 hours after they made it.

The XP Off BG queues are also bugged, you can’t queue a random BG and get a pop. The queue never pops, you have to queue a single BG and solo. Even then when there enough people queued on each faction it won’t always pop.

Do you really think the change to separate queues changes my ability to make a Twinked toon, gear it with XP Off and do BG’s with XP on? Then rinse and repeat through the brackets, if that was my motivation for turning XP off?

Or simply rez a Legion 110 and turn its XP off, update it’s gear with BfA Azerite items and stomp all over non BfA 110’s?

Just check some of my post history if you really want to see what I think would be better solutions.

More relevant than your PvP experience though.

You do know that to get Arena rating you actually have to do Arenas, that rating was from MoP when a friend convinced my to give it ago.

I have maybe done a 100 Arena’s since MoP, it’s not a part of the game I get any enjoyment from so I don’t do it, unless I let a friend talk me into it for a few.

Considering my PvP experience started a few weeks ago i would hope.

Of course you don’t get any enjoyment from Arenas, your enjoyment comes from queuing up for unrated low level Bgs with twinked characters so you can feel good about yourself while killing players who are just leveling up and going through the natural progression of their character.

Just like smurfing in Overwatch, Counter strike, league of legends and just about any other tiered PvP game. This isnt new, and the cause is always the same. Blizzard has done a great job.

Is that why I have more BG’s and HK’s on what were at the time max level characters?

Do you think that queuing on your i404 Priest doesn’t give you a huge advantage over say my fresh i325 120 'Lock. It’s the same thing, but because it’s at max level it’s fine?

I wouldn’t dream of crying that my 120’s are out geared, hell I’d play them if there was a clear gearing path, ie PvP gear with PvP only stats, that could be bought from a PvP Vendor with PvP Currency. But with current PvP gear lottery I’m not wasting my time.

I find it kinda odd that you hadn’t stepped into a BG until after the queues were separated again, and comment on Twinks in BG’s that it appears you’ve never actually experienced for yourself.

As it should, and as a fresh 325ilvl 120 player, you can now work towards gearing yourself up to eventually be able to close that gap, on the other hand, twinks purposely lock themselves in a tier of content the game isnt designed towards in order to have an advantage over players who are naturally playing the game.

Obviously being max level makes it fine, do you think a new player is going to randomly stop leveling and spend weeks gearing up a level 20 (for example) to queue up for bgs? No you don’t, and that’s why you YOU DO IT. Some of you even go to the lengths of bug exploiting to get into those bgs now, which i hope blizzard takes action agaisnt.

A fresh level 120 might be outgeared by me, but they have nothing but time to gear up their character, just like i and 99.9% of the playerbase did.

This is not true, i did plenty of bgs while leveling, i have 2 120’s and 2 110’s.

And like i said before, twinking isnt something that only happens in WoW. I played counter strike for years twinking (called smurfing in CS) existed. Just like in league of legends and overwatch.

This topic is getting old. Blizzard did a great job on this one.

Does it though? Doesn’t essentially add up to the same thing.

At your iLevel you have a massive gear advantage over a fresh 120, much much bigger than the advantage a Twink has in a lot of the brackets. I have detailed several times how I believe the outliner brackets could be better aligned.

The issue being that people like me who prefer to be able to gear up doing the content they enjoy can’t. There is no gear progression in PvP, yes you can get a guaranteed piece once a week from the Conquest Chest, but outside of that you at the mercy of a RNG in the hope of a random reward that may or may not be a piece you need, and may or may not be an upgrade.

I’m not interested in doing endless WQ / Dungeons to get gear to allow me to be competitive in the activity I actually enjoy and want to do.

So why does your armoury ( Achievements ) show no PvP achievements ( apart from 500HK’s ) prior to May 2019? Yet my armoury shows way back to 2012 before this character was made.

Maybe because only is 500 HK are account wide and the others are per character? Playing since MoP and dont know that? My last main got that 500HK achiev, this priest isnt even 3 months old.

Why didnt you quote the rest? Didnt even answer it, truly hilarious. Im done with this topic and particularly with you, picking and choosing what you want to address and furthering your faulty notions while ignoring facts.

Fascinating how people play a MMORPG, yet encourage banning twinking altogether. Twinking is, essentially, the same as level cap when it comes to gearing progress, except it isn’t completely reset when a new patch hits. MMORPG was and is about gear progression, take it or leave it.
While the queue change is awesome, the main issue is that twinks cannot queue against each other in their separate queue - it won’t proc even with voice coordination. I understand that in 2019 it’s a small indie company age, but still, any attempt at fixing that would be welcome.

Nothing to add here, tbh. Heard some private servers actually went out of their way to create separate item level brackets in order to maintain healthy competition. Wish retail would follow the same pattern consistently and not with twinks only.

Eks to the freaking dee.
Gear matters in PvP, skill - to a slightly lesser extent. Legion is gone.
When it comes to first post, twinking community is actually more active.
Natural progression of the game is gear progression, plain and simple. If you’re beaten by a twink, you either go twink as well and get your corresponding BiS to stand a chance, or go whine on forums. Both work.
Doesn’t look like you played as much as well to talk about natural progression of the game in any form. Hell, twinks in most brackets now (except maybe 59ish?) don’t have a delta above 40% compared to normal levelers, and in no way or form can be compared to Vanilla twinks, Wrath 69 twinks, and especially Cata 79 and MoP 84 twinks (I actualy suggest you check it out for yourself and compare).
You’ll have a fun time in Classic when there’s no separate queues to cover your back from the ACTUAL twinks and R14s, that’s for sure. Won’t be able to come and rationalize it out, though, so appreciate what you have.

Roughly over a half of twinks I’ve met over the years have 2.2k+ on their respective mains, 2k+ back on AT (yes it matters) and some even in high end Mythic guilds - something that’s out of your reach and is to stay that way. You don’t define the reasons people do this or that for other players. You just don’t.
Now cry your damn tears and git gud.

Is it blabber or is that just an easy way for you to dismiss an entire group of people with honest sentiments?

The natural progression of the current game is terrible and a huge number of people have already quit. Who is this natural progression for? What if the natural progression sucks fat chode?!

There have always been twinks who just don’t want to have to re-gear their toon every 10 minutes. You are just the kind of person that wants to transform everything into another form of fast levelling. Why don’t you just pay for a fecking boost if you want to level so fast. There are PLENTY of ways to level outside of PVP.

For us who don’t like BFA but still love WoW there can be solace in twinking and a healthy community built up around that. The kind of community that goes out of its way to help each other, give each other advice, be friends with. That just doesn’t happen in the end game, or at least very rarely.

You can pull out my honest admitance that initially I enjoyed farming noobs, but that doesn’t devalue the rest of what I said. Further, you just didn’t even read it, you just ASSUMED that we all JUST LIKE PUB STOMPING despite what everybody keeps telling you. That’s just ignorant.

I am sick to death of farming and refarming every 4 months, especially when the end game is so tedious and it’s like playing the lottery. BFA can suck my nutsack. The people still playing BFA for fun are honestly either braindead, enjoy tedium, children, or they literally just have nothing better to do with their lives.

According to a very small group of players. The majority seems to enjoy it. Or can you link the statistics that shows us the huge number of people who quit due to terrible natural progression?

So you are too lazy to gear your character for the brackets you play, and therefor you should have some kind of right to roflstomp everyone else in said brackets? Hm…

You do realise, of course, that if people stopped levelling through bg’s and bought boosts instead, there would be no queues to join for twinks? Even with exploits.

and then:

Oh, the irony…

How can you possibly need statistics to prove that this game has lost a lot of subs? Do you honestly have that small a number of friends that you didn’t notice? Bro, everyone I know has quit. I had upwards of 30 people I would play with daily. All of them have quit. The guilds I am in are abandoned with no messages in them for months. Some of these guilds are years old and have been active for years. You honestly cannot be that ignorant.

There is only now a vocal minority to how bad the game is because so many people have quit. They have quit because for most people this game is absolutely trash at the end game. Even the most dedicated streamers, youtubers, pro players…they ALL quit. Asmongold, Bellular is playing less nixxiom quit, pro players express their lack of enjoyment in the game. Dude open your eyes.

Is it laziness. or can I just not stand the game. I’ve expressed that I hate the end game, I don’t want to re-gear as the game stands. Previously it sucked having to do it yeah, but you put up with it because you were excited for the content. This content now is not worth it.

People have always roflstomed bg’s. I have been roflstomped MANY TIMES. Its not that big a deal. I still took part even when i would do terribly. WoW PVP has always been nails, and now its been watered down for care bears like you. Care bears who enjoy this flacid, tedious expansion, and who cant stand the idea that other people may deserve to farm you for all the work they have put in.

I dont think that is the case at all. BG’s have classically been AWFUL as a levelling tool and now even with the increased XP i have seen the longest queues in any expansion to date.

Yeah dude, the thing is people can assume whatever they like about me without context and I can call them out. If you still enjoy this expansion than that is certainly enough material for me to make an educated guess on how flat your skull is. That is plenty of context. I cannot fathom how boring your life would have to be in order to enjoy BFA and I mean that genuinely.
