Blizzard certainly don’t seem to care.
This is adding to my ‘should I buy Midnight?’ doubts. I was already dubious about the dumbing down of the talents, has that ever gone well in the past, which I know may change as we’re only just at the start of the alpha test phase but this lack of concern over players not being able to play the current game properly is not instilling a lot of confidence.

The rendering bug (black and rainbow textures included) has now also started affecting the revamped in-game store. Mount and pet 3D models are unaffected but the bipedal character models will frequently break in the same way I described it here and in other topics ten times already. Browsing through transmog collection included, but this is much less severe because the models refresh quickly by turning the page.
Pretending that everything is fine with the game for 4 months straight is one thing (it’s only 12,99 a month right?
) but I believe your employers might not be so happy to hear all those nice sets which are put into the spotlight aren’t showing properly.
It is obvious that something is very wrong with the game and your platforms and it can all be pinpointed to the release day of 11.1.7 patch. If you look a couple of post boxes above mine you’ll even see a druid with FLAT BLACK BODY TEXTURE in the portrait. I’ve so far caught at least 20 different forum users affected by the same issue.
I tried the PTR, and there is NO IMPROVEMENT WHATSOEVER. Then there’s there alpha f&f version of expansion. There is maybe 50 people from public space in total with access to the game and after watching the streams for couple of hours I thought to myself, can it be they finally figured this thing out because I still haven’t caught any of them experiencing a graphical issue? - NOPE, and moments later everything in this guy’s view disappears for a brief moment and when the models repopulate the screen some of them are stuck as FLAT BLACK SILHUETTES.
As for all the connected threads that went dead over time, your loyal paying customers have given up on complaining which resulted with the discussions auto-locking due to inactivity.

Same problems, memory error crash from totally random stuff in game, but almost 90% while being in Dornogal, or using xmog npc or mounts. No fix yet. Sad stuff tbh, paying and not getting sheet in return.

PS: the 141 kernal issue was sent to Nvidia as a auto error log and only happened in WoW War with in.. Sorry my PC specs are as follows and no way space or form am I gloating! Im just mentioning my specs for referance..
I9 14900k
5080oc
64g 6000 DDR5 ram
Windows 11
Blizzard almost certainly know about this problem which would mean they’re choosing to ignore it. With my best tinfoil conspiracy hat on it may be that if they acknowledge it they have to address it but if they ignore it they can pretend it doesn’t exist.
It’s possible that because they’re trying to maintain so many different versions of the game, retail classic Legion remix hardcore etc as well as working on Midnight, they’re stretched too thin in terms of development resources which in no way excuses it.

Well im having no issues so far.. Having a few FPS tanks here and there, but normal.
Tried again after today’s extended maintenance, not sure if there was a patch, and the problem is still there.
dx11 is mostly fine with an occasional freeze/pause but dx12 is unplayable.
Don’t forget to mention this next week when beta goes live. From what I’ve seen and been told it was still an ongoing issue as of end of October both in PTR and alpha build.
The only reason it isn’t getting more attention is because of limited scope of testing and low number of participants with access. DirectX12 is still very much broken in many different ways.
I still have this issue - game freezing, all textures unload leaving a black screen with the coloured writing. Game then reloads everything.
Mainly happens in Dornegal and espcially at the transmorgifier I noticed.
Also for the first time spotted a windows message saying that ‘world of warcraft failed to start 3D acceleration’. First time catching that.

The fel spreaders for legion remix invasion quests are acting up in the spirit of this problem. For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s the floating, spinning green devices which appear around the zone while the event is active.
On respawn they load in fully and a brief second later their textures go full black. Mostly it takes them a couple of seconds to start showing proper textures again but sometimes they stay bugged for half a minute or longer.
This issue happened within the first 30 mins after logging into the 12.0 beta…
I’ve made a thread directly to the concerned forum, if you guys can bring awareness there too 12.0 Still Triggering Driver Crash on Nvidia GPU
I’ve switched to DX11 for now

No one expected things to improve by itself, especially after three patches of issues piling up and complete radio silence. There is no significant advancement in the game’s graphics but higher load is just trouble waiting to happen and it can’t wait for the housing area to start overloading cards.
If there’s broken textures in the transmog/collection UI it will happen to the object browser as well.

Apparently 11.2.7 is out soon not that I’m expecting it to be fixed but you never know.
I wouldn’t be surprised suddenly waking up to the game no longer working on windows 10 for some strange reason, like this main issue we’ve been discussing for quite some time now, which wasn’t even present on the PTR for the patch in question but suddenly popped up without any graphics or OS updates.
Whatever it may be a last minute thing because suddenly everyone started seeing it first hand in the Ethereal Lorewalking section of Netherstorm zone. For the most part the most egregious problem was fixed but the issue continues to be felt in many other features of the game and at varying intensity for different users.
